Michael Stone made his NHL playoff debut for Phoenix in Game 2 of the Western Conference Finals.

He logged 12:15 of ice time while finishing the contest with one blocked shot and a minus-1 rating. Stone replaced David Schlemko in the lineup. The 21-year-old rookie appeared in 13 games for Phoenix during the regular season, where he generated three points and a plus-7 rating.

Kyle Clifford suited up in Game 2 versus Phoenix on Tuesday night.

It marked his first game since the Kings' playoff opener against Vancouver because of a concussion. Clifford played in the place of Colin Fraser, who missed the match because of family reasons. He recorded two penalty minutes and two shots in 7:10 of ice time.

Colin Fraser left the team on Tuesday afternoon due to family reasons, so he wasn't available to play in Game 2 against Phoenix later that night.

As a result, Kyle Clifford was inserted into the lineup in his place. Fraser has not posted a point in 10 postseason games for the Kings.

According to Dallas Stars goalie coach Mike Valley, Kari Lehtonen's undisclosed injury at the World Championships isn't serious.

"They're still looking at everything, and there has been a lot of communication between doctors there and our trainer," Valley said. "They're not 100 percent sure what the injury is, but I've been told it is not a serious injury." Lehtonen was hurt after a collision with American forward Bobby Ryan on Sunday and won't play again in the tournament. He will look to recover over the summer.

Milan Hejduk doesn't appear to be willing to hang up his skates just yet.

There has reportedly been some ongoing dialogue between him and the Colorado Avalanche and that is where the 36-year-old veteran would prefer to stay. Hejduk has played all 991 of his career games in the NHL with the Avalanche and is slated to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1. However, it is uncertain if he would play for another team or choose to retire if he isn't in Colorado's plans. Hejduk posted a career-low 37 points in 81 games in 2011-12.

Brendan Morrison hopes to return to playing in the NHL next year, but he isn't sure what's going to happen after a rough 2011-12 season.

"This season was a long season as far as trying to get back to full health after knee surgery last year, but I feel good now," he said. "I'm going to prepare like I'm going to play and then we will have to make a decision later in the summer. I don't think anything is going to happen early in the summer, but I'm going to prepare." He was scratched in 21 of Chicago's final 31 regular season games and skated mostly on the fourth line when he did play. Morrison appeared in three playoff contests, but his arrival on the Blackhawks didn't go well after he struggled with Calgary prior to the move. In 39 games between both clubs, he ended up with four goals and seven assists.

Sven Baertschi knows that much more will be expected of him when he attends training camp in the fall and he feels that he will be up for the challenge.

The Flames' top prospect skated in five NHL games on an emergency basis in 2011-12 and he netted three goals during that time. He also led all skaters in scoring during the WHL playoffs, with 34 points in 22 games despite Portland's loss in the finals to the Edmonton Oil Kings. The 13th overall selection in the 2011 draft could crack the team's lineup for next season.
