Jesse James corralled two-of-four targets for 30 yards Sunday in the Steelers’ Week 3 loss to the Bears.

James exited briefly with a shoulder injury after taking a big hit from Bears corner Kyle Fuller but he only missed a handful of snaps. Later he was targeted in the end zone but the pass from Ben Roethlisberger was too high. James hasn’t done much since going for a pair of touchdowns in the opener and won’t be anything more than a boom-or-bust TE2 next week at Baltimore.

Duke Johnson caught 6-of-7 targets for 81 yards with 21 yards and a touchdown on two carries rushing.

Johnson's 19-yard rushing score in the second quarter was just the second rushing touchdown of his three-year career and his fourth touchdown ever. He has just six rushing attempts through three games, but Johnson's 17 targets on the season are now tied for the team lead. He'll remain a FLEX option in PPR formats next week against the Bengals.

Antonio Brown delivered 10 catches for 110 yards and a touchdown on 14 targets Sunday in the Steelers’ Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Brown was his usual free-wielding self on Sunday, getting open at will, especially in the first half when he logged seven of his 10 catches. That included a seven-yard touchdown strike from Ben Roethlisberger in the second quarter. That was his 51st touchdown reception, which ties him with Lynn Swann for third on the Steelers’ all-time list. On Sunday Brown also became the fastest receiver ever to 650 catches, beating Marvin Harrison’s old mark by three games. AB gets the Ravens on the road in Week 4.

Curtis Samuel caught 2-of-5 targets for five yards in the Panthers' Week 3 loss to the Saints, adding a 31-yard rush.

Sep 24 - 5:46 PM

Carson Wentz completed 21-of-31 passes for 176 yards and a touchdown and rushed six times for 22 yards in the Eagles' Week 3 win over the Giants.

Wentz missed what should have been a long touchdown by overthrowing Alshon Jeffery, and that play alone would have made his box score much more palatable. The good news is Wentz gets a better Week 4 matchup against a Chargers defense that has struggled so far. Wentz remains on the fringes of week-to-week QB1 value. Put simply, he needs to begin connecting on vertical throws more.

Martavis Bryant nabbed two-of-eight targets for 30 yards Sunday in the Steelers’ Week 3 loss to the Bears.

Bryant torched Marcus Cooper on the first play from scrimmage for what should have a 75-yard touchdown, but let Ben Roethlisberger’s pass slip through his fingertips. It wouldn’t have been an easy catch, but considering the separation he created, it was a huge missed opportunity for Bryant. For the most part Chicago did a nice job defending the deep ball on Sunday, which made Bryant mostly a non-factor. Bryant has now caught just seven-of-18 targets for 135 yards and a touchdown through his first three games. He’ll look to rebound against the division-rival Ravens in Week 4.

Mike Glennon completed 15-of-22 passes for 101 yards with one touchdown and one interception and rushed three times for a gain of four yards Sunday in the Bears’ Week 3 win over the Steelers.

He was sacked twice for a loss of 17 yards. The Bears did their best to hide Glennon, rarely asking him to throw on a day where Chicago rushed for 220 yards on 38 carries. When Glennon did throw it, it was usually a quick hit to one of the Bears’ running backs or tight ends. His longest completion went for all of 17 yards. Glennon’s lone touchdown came on a play-action pass to a wide-open Adam Shaheen late in the first half. He was later intercepted by J.J. Wilcox on a pass intended for tight end Zach Miller. Glennon did just enough to keep his job for another week, though Mitchell Trubisky will be waiting at the ready if he slips up Thursday against the Packers.
Sep 24 - 5:44 PM

Zach Miller pulled in one-of-three targets for 17 yards Sunday in the Bears’ Week 3 win over the Steelers.

Miller made a nice play up the seam in tight coverage for his only grab of the day in the second quarter. That catch also happened to be Mike Glennon’s longest completion of the afternoon. Miller didn’t see much action aside from that, though he was the intended receiver on Glennon’s interception early in the fourth quarter. It was a quiet week for Miller, who was targeted a combined 15 times in his first two outings this year. He’ll look to bounce back against the Packers on Thursday Night Football.
