Giants interim coach Steve Spagnuolo said he "was disappointed" by Eli Apple tweeting during the Week 14 loss to the Cowboys.

Apple was inactive for the fourth-straight game. He responded to a tweet asking why he was not playing with, "I'm too healthy," and retweeted a tweet praising Rod Smith's 81-yard touchdown. "I had a conversation with Eli about that," Spagnuolo said. "I told him I was disappointed. We'll decide exactly what we do with it. He apologized. We move on from that." ESPN's Jordan Raanan has reported Apple is "disliked within the organization," and this incident is unlikely to help matters. It is possible the Giants look to move on during the offseason.

ESPN's John Keim reports Redskins ILB Zach Brown (foot) is not dealing with a season-ending injury.

Brown left the Week 14 loss to the Chargers with a foot injury which had him on crutches and in a boot after the game. Keim reports Brown "might miss a week," but it does not sound like he is headed to injured reserve. Martrell Spaight will play a bigger role if Brown is forced to miss time.
Dec 12 - 9:24 AM

Chris Hogan caught 1-of-5 targets for one yard in the Patriots Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.

This was Hogan's first game back from a shoulder injury which sidelined him multiple weeks. It was an absolute dud for a player that has been stellar when healthy. Hogan will look to get on track in a plus matchup against the Steelers in Week 15.
Dec 12 - 1:55 AM

Danny Amendola caught 6-of-9 targets for 76 yards in the Patriots' Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.

Amendola led the team in targets, racking them up over the middle and filling the void left by Rob Gronkowski's suspension. He could have had an even bigger game, but was stopped at the one-yard line on a near score. With Gronk returning and WR Chris Hogan likely playing a bigger role, Amendola is a dicey start in Week 15 against the Steelers.
Dec 12 - 1:52 AM

Brandin Cooks caught 1-of-7 targets for 38 yards in the Patriots' Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.

Cooks had a horrible game and was shut down by CB Xavien Howard. Howard intercepted two passes intended for Cooks and had multiple key pass break-ups. Cooks struggles to run crisp routes at times and it was put on display tonight. He didn't catch a pass until late in the game on a corner route against zone coverage. He has a plus matchup against Pittsburgh in Week 15 and should be started despite this week's dud.
Dec 12 - 1:47 AM

James White caught 3-of-4 targets for 11 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.

White somehow led all Patriots' running backs in snaps with 35 but was third in touches with three. His touchdown came on play-action where he made a good effort to dive into the end zone. Despite the ample amount of snaps, White shouldn't be started in fantasy leagues.
Dec 12 - 1:41 AM

Rex Burkhead rushed five times for eight yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' Week 14 loss to the Dolphins, adding five receptions for 45 additional yards.

Burkhead has now scored five touchdowns in his last three games. On his touchdown run this week, he made a nice cut and made a defender miss for a four-yard score. He has a firm grasp of the Patriots red-zone carries and has been cashing in on them as of late. Burkhead will be an upside RB2 against the Steelers in Week 15 in what should be a high-scoring affair.
Dec 12 - 1:28 AM

Dion Lewis rushed five times for 17 yards and caught 5-of-5 targets for 50 yards in the Patriots' Week 14 loss to the Dolphins.

After rushing for 112 yards against the Dolphins in Week 12, Lewis was held to 17 yards this time around. His best play of the day was a highlight-reel one-handed catch on a wheel route down the sideline. In a game the Patriots offense wasn't clicking, Lewis still turned in a solid performance for fantasy owners. He will be a RB2 in Week 15 against the Steelers.
