Arian Foster exited Week 17 against the Jaguars with a knee injury and is questionable to return.

The Texans also announced a hamstring issue for Foster. He was injured near the end of the first quarter and missed the final series of the opening quarter before heading to the locker room after the break. Alfred Blue and Jonathan Grimes are handling backfield duties. Foster gingerly paced the sidelines.

Vincent Jackson was forced the Bucs' Week 17 game against the Saints with a groin injury, and is doubtful to return.

V-Jax went down midway through the first quarter, and the quick "doubtful" tag is a strong indication he will not return. V-Jax had one catch for 11 yards before going down, bringing his season line to an uninspiring 70/1,002/2. Jackson has now cleared 1,000 yards in each of his three seasons as a Buc, but watched his touchdown totals fall from eight to seven to two. Two weeks shy of his 32nd birthday, V-Jax is now clearly behind Mike Evans on the depth chart. V-Jax remains one of the league's best pure deep threats, but his days of no doubt WR1/2 status in fantasy are over. Jackson is due a hefty $9.777 million in 2015, but should remain in Tampa.

According to FOX's Jay Glazer, DeAngelo Williams (hand) will not play in Sunday's Week 17 game at Atlanta.

It's a bit of a surprise as Williams was listed as probable. But the Panthers coaches aren't comfortable with his blocking and they also seem to finally realize that saddling up Jonathan Stewart as a true feature back is their optimal play. Expect another 20-plus touches for the red-hot Stewart in Sunday's game for the NFC South crown.

ESPN's Chris Mortensen confirms the Jets are expected to fire GM John Idzik.

This was fully expected, especially after the Jets' own website published stories this week on Idzik's failings as a general manager. Per Mort, owner Woody Johnson will leave Rex Ryan's fate in the hands of the Jets' next GM. Johnson would love to keep Rex -- he's a top-ten NFL head coach -- but New York's next decision maker may deem it best to clean house. Rex cleaned out his office this week, but "he has not been told he is out."

CBS' Jason La Canfora confirms the Broncos view a win over the Raiders Sunday as "imperative."

The Broncos need to beat the Raiders to clinch the No. 2 seed and a first-round bye. So even though they're home against a weak opponent, they won't take anything for granted. Peyton Manning, C.J. Anderson and the rest of the Broncos stars can be used as if it is a normal week.

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports the Raiders still plan to make a "concerted effort" to lure Jim Harbaugh to Oakland.

University of Michigan officials are "confident" Harbaugh is going to Ann Arbor, according to Schefter, but there is no deal done yet. Schefter confirms Michigan "remains the favorite" to hire Harbaugh, but he may as well use other organizations as leverage to get as much money as possible. If Harbaugh does go back to college, it's fair to wonder how long he'll stay there. It's pretty widely accepted that his true passion is for the NFL.

ESPN's Adam Schefter confirms Jimmy Garoppolo is expected to play "at least some" of Sunday's Week 17 game against the Bills.

We've known all week that the Patriots aren't going to play their starters for the whole game. It's possible Tom Brady only plays a series or two. Garoppolo was solid in the preseason, completing 46-of-79 passes for 618 yards (7.8 YPA), five touchdowns, and one interception.

Browns CB Joe Haden (shoulder) is active for Week 17 against the Ravens.

Haden only got in limited practices this week, but will give it a go in the season finale. It is a bit of a downgrade for Steve Smith, but Smith was not a quality starting option either way.
