Packers re-signed QB Joe Callahan.

Beat writer Tom Silverstein states the Packers always intended to re-sign Callahan, so the transaction isn't necessarily an indication that the team will hold Aaron Rodgers out of its final two regular season games. Green Bay will be formally eliminated from playoff contention if the Falcons beat the Bucs on Monday night.

Steelers rookie RB James Conner will undergo knee surgery.

He's out indefinitely, so the Steelers will likely have to sign another back to chip in behind Le'Veon Bell. A bit player in his first NFL season, Conner has 144 yards on 32 carries (4.5 YPC). He did not catch a pass through 14 games.

Keenan Allen (back) is expected to be "fine" for Week 16 at the Jets.

Allen was carted off in Saturday night's loss to Kansas City, missing the Chargers' final drive. With Hunter Henry's (kidney) status in question for Weeks 16-17, Allen will have to handle a particularly heavy passing-game load in two must-win games. The Chargers have fallen to 7-7, but they are still in the playoff hunt.

Chargers ILB Denzel Perryman (hamstring) is out for Week 16 at the Jets.

Perryman's absence will hurt the Chargers' run defense, which already wasn't playing particularly well. The Bolts will likely turn to Jatavis Brown to replace him. Brown was a liability in run defense in five early-season starts.
Dec 18 - 4:36 PM

Hunter Henry has a "small" laceration of his kidney and is in danger of missing Weeks 16-17.

Officially, coach Anthony Lynn said Monday that Henry's status is "up in the air" for the next two games. The Chargers' playoff hopes took a big hit in Saturday night's loss to Kansas City, and they are now in danger of missing their No. 2 pass-catching weapon behind Keenan Allen for two must-win games. If Henry can't go this week, washed-up Antonio Gates would be forced into heavy snaps.
Dec 18 - 4:35 PM

Chargers claimed K Nick Rose off waivers from the Redskins and waived K Travis Coons.

The Chargers have used seemingly countless kickers this season, several of whom have cost them games. Rose went 10-of-11 on field goal tries in Washington, although he missed two extra points. He will kick Sunday against the Jets.

Colts claimed OG Mark Glowinski off waivers from the Seahawks.

Glowinski struggled mightily in four appearances (two starts) in Seattle this season, but he is a high-level athlete for the position and has a minimum base salary for next year. The Colts will carry Glowinski into the offseason.
Dec 18 - 4:28 PM

Jets waived WR Jeremy Kerley.

Kerley's four-game suspension for PED violations had recently ended. He chipped in 22 catches for 217 yards and a touchdown in eight appearances before the ban.
