Marvin Williams finished with 15 points across 21 minutes in Friday's 122-105 win at Washington.

Williams hit 5-of-9 from the field, including 4-of-7 from behind the 3-point line, and he added two rebounds with a blocked shot and just one turnover. Inexplicably, he was just 1-of-3 from the free-throw line for his ugliest area of the night. He looks rejuvenated after the All-Star break, averaging 13.0 PPG with 2.5 3-pointers per contest in the past two outings.

Jimmy Butler (knee) was helped to the locker room in the third quarter on Friday.

He was battling in the paint and Nene fell into his left knee, and then about a second later his left knee looked to give out on a shot attempt without taking any contact. He needed help off the floor and was put on a cart, so this does not look good at all. The Wolves may have to lean on Nemanja Bjelica, Jamal Crawford, Andrew Wiggins and maybe even Marcus Georges-Hunt to help out.
Feb 23 - 9:45 PM

Victor Oladipo flirted with a triple-double in Friday's easy 116-93 win over the Hawks, scoring 14 points with nine assists, seven rebounds, four steals, two blocks and two triples.

He only played 28 minutes, so he was well on pace for his first triple-double as a Pacer if not for garbage time. Dipo only had four points at halftime and hit just 5-of-16 shots, but showed why he's so valuable in fantasy for his multi-category production. This was his fourth game of the season with at least two steals, two blocks and two triples and he could easily hold onto his first-round ranking in standard leagues the rest of the way.
Feb 23 - 9:42 PM

Jaylen Brown scored eight points with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block in 24 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

He did lose some minutes to Terry Rozier down the stretch and it's probably a fair bet to say Brown may have a tough time sustaining his 31.6 minutes per game. He should still be able to flirt with 30 minutes, but Brown can be considered as a drop in shallower leagues now that his ceiling and floor have lowered.
Feb 23 - 9:42 PM

Jayson Tatum scored 15 points with one rebound and two 3-pointers in just 21 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

Somewhat surprisingly, it was Tatum who took a hit with playing time with Marcus Smart coming back, but Tatum did close this game before it got to garbage time. He has cooled off a tad from his tremendous start, but he's still a must-start plaery in 12-team leagues.
Feb 23 - 9:40 PM

Greg Monroe scored eight points with five rebounds, two assists and two steals in 19 minutes against the Pistons on Friday.

There are just too many options for Brad Stevens, so Monroe won't be able to overcome how he'll be used situationally. He should've been dropped when he agreed to sign with the Celtics.
Feb 23 - 9:38 PM

Daniel Theis scored a career-high 19 points against the Pistons on Friday, adding seven rebounds, two steals, two blocks and two 3-pointers in 25 minutes.

He was awesome the first half, so coach Brad Stevens rolled the Theis out there to start the third because Aron Baynes got hurt. It's unknown if Aron Baynes' elbow injury is bad, but the team did originally say he was available to return before later ruling him out. He's not really an add unless we get more news on Baynes, and for now it sounds like Baynes' injury is more of a day-to-day issue.
Feb 23 - 9:37 PM

Marcus Smart made 5-of-9 from the field for 12 points with three rebounds, six assists and two 3-pointers against the Pistons on Friday.

It was one of his better games on offense and he brought it on defense as per usual. Maybe Smart's incident with a picture frame gave him a little extra edge, but it's not like effort was a problem with him anyway. He'll still likely be a guy that should be used on teams punting FG%, but the counting stats will be there with minutes closer to 30.
