Christine Michael rushed eight times for 28 yards and caught 3-of-3 targets for 36 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' third preseason game.

He was the third Seahawks back to enter, behind Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin. Michael and Turbin both got first-team run after Lynch departed, however, with C-Mike handling deep red-zone carries toward the end of Seattle's second drive. Perhaps most promisingly, Michael executed on a first-quarter blitz pickup of Lance Briggs. There are no questions about Michael's running ability, but he still needs to polish the finer points of his game. He fumbled in each of the Seahawks' first two preseason affairs, but displayed ball security on Friday night and was very active in the passing game, which has historically been a weakness for C-Mike. He's a high-upside Dynasty stash, albeit with injury-dependent re-draft value.

Doug Baldwin secured 2-of-2 targets for 23 yards in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night against the Bears.

Baldwin played in three-wide formations with Jermaine Kearse and Percy Harvin, but just so happened to be the quietest member of the trio in this game. Playing Golden Tate's old role at "X" receiver, Baldwin will run lower-percentage routes than Percy Harvin, and score fewer touchdowns than jump-ball specialist Jermaine Kearse. We see Baldwin as a low-ceiling fantasy flier. Baldwin has four catches for 43 yards through three exhibition affairs.

Jonas Gray rushed for 20 yards on nine carries in the Patriots' third preseason game.

Gray saw some work with the first-team offense on Friday night. A big (5-foot-10, 225), powerful back, Gray could function as the power runner in New England's offense if Stevan Ridley falters. Gray has 30 carries for 130 yards this preseason.

Percy Harvin caught 3-of-3 targets for 61 yards in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night.

Harvin returned the opening kickoff 46 yards, and found an opening in Chicago's defense for a 25-yard gain on Seattle's opening drive. He added a 23-yarder on a curl route out of the slot early in the second quarter, whipping Bears CB Tim Jennings. Harvin has a combined 7-92 receiving line this preseason. Although his explosiveness clearly remains intact, we wouldn't be surprised if Harvin becomes a better real-life than fantasy player in Seattle.

Danny Amendola hauled in both of his targets for 13 yards in the Patriots' third preseason game.

Amendola earned the start on Friday night and saw snaps in three-wide sets. With Rob Gronkowski healthy, Amendola may struggle to find targets in the Patriots' suddenly stocked pass catching corps. Amendola now has three catches for 22 yards this preseason.

Jermaine Kearse secured 4-of-5 targets for 63 yards and a touchdown in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night versus Chicago.

Kearse was targeted in the red zone in the first quarter, but couldn't secure Russell Wilson's throw. He rebounded for a 12-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter. As Percy Harvin and Doug Baldwin are limited from a size standpoint, 6-foot-1, 207-pound Kearse is a solid bet to lead the Seahawks' wideout corps in TD catches this year. Kearse has five catches for 74 yards and the touchdown through three preseason games. He's in the WR5 hunt.
Aug 23 - 12:21 AM

Russell Wilson completed 15-of-20 passes for 202 yards and two touchdowns, and rushed four times for 23 yards and a third score in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night against the Bears.

After engineering a touchdown drive capped by Marshawn Lynch's seven-yard score to open the game, Wilson did the same on each of the Seahawks' next three possessions, executing on a seven-yard keeper, tossing a 12-yard score to Jermaine Kearse, and finding Christine Michael for a seven-yard touchdown catch in the corner of the end zone. Wilson has been terrific this preseason, completing an incredibly efficient 30-of-39 throws for 360 yards, two TDs, no turnovers, and adding three rushing scores. Wilson has finished as a top-11 fantasy quarterback in each of his first two NFL seasons. He's still only 25 years old.

Ryan Broyles caught three passes for 44 yards in the Lions' third preseason game Friday night

Broyles worked exclusively with the second- and third-team offenses, playing behind Kevin Ogletree and Kris Durham. He's now led the Lions in receiving in consecutive weeks and should have the inside track on a roster spot. Ogletree had one catch for 16 yards on one target. Durham finished with two catches for six yards and a touchdown.
