Mike Leake gave up four runs over seven innings in Monday's loss to the Dodgers.

Leake's run of nine straight quality starts to begin the season comes to an end. He allowed three runs over his first six frames in this one, but he was sent back out for the seventh with his pitch count low and gave up a sac fly. The sinkerballer gave up just six hits and a walk while striking out six but served up a couple longballs. Leake gets the Cubs at Wrigley this weekend.

Logan Forsythe swatted his first home run as a Dodgers on Monday against the Cardinals.

Forsythe took Kevin Siegrist deep to lead off the eighth inning, extending the Dodgers' lead. While he's hitting just .238 through his first 20 games with Los Angeles and this was his first homer, Forsythe has been getting on base as expected with a .355 OBP.

Cody Bellinger homered for the second game in a row in Monday's win over the Cardinals.

Bellinger was given the green light on a 3-0 offering from Mike Leake in the fourth inning and he blasted it well into the right field seats for a solo shot. The rookie has predictably tailed off a bit in the average department of late, but he's gone deep four times over his last 10 contests.

Chase Utley singled and swatted a solo homer Monday in St. Louis.

Utley got the scoring going with a long blast off of Mike Leake that went over the right-center field wall. The veteran second baseman has been playing regularly of late with Justin Turner (hamstring) out and has hit .324 with three homers over his last 11 games.

Paul DeJong singled and doubled in four at-bats in Monday's loss to the Dodgers.

After cranking a homer in his first major league at-bat Sunday, DeJong picked up a couple hits in his first start. Greg Garcia figures to see most of the starts at second base while Kolten Wong (elbow) is out, but DeJong could continue to see at-bats against lefties.

Rays optioned RHP Ryan Garton to Triple-A Durham.

Garton's latest stint the majors only lasted a few days and he allowed three runs in his lone appearance. Jose De Leon is taking his spot in the bullpen.

Twins sent LHP Adam Wilk outright to Triple-A Rochester.

Wilk cleared waivers after being designated for assignment and has accepted an outright assigned rather than elect free agency. He'll provide rotation depth in the minors.
May 29 - 5:00 PM

Francisco Liriano (shoulder) will rejoin the Blue Jays' rotation this weekend.

The exact day hasn't been determined yet, but Liriano felt good during a rehab start Sunday at Triple-A Buffalo. The left-hander has been on the shelf for nearly three weeks with inflammation in his pitching shoulder. He was really struggling before going down, so fantasy owners would be wise to take a wait-and-see approach.
