C.J. Anderson managed 37 yards and a touchdown on 13 carries while catching two-of-three targets for 19 yards Sunday in the Broncos’ Week 11 loss to the Bengals.

Anderson got off to a hot start for Denver, converting a fourth-and-two opportunity in the first quarter and scoring a goal-line touchdown later on the same drive. The touchdown was his first since Week 2. Aside from that drive, Anderson was mostly a non-factor, averaging just 2.8 yards per carry with a long run of seven yards. Anderson coughed up a fumble after taking a massive hit from Vontaze Burfict in the fourth quarter and was both out-touched and out-gained by second-year back Devontae Booker. Those two should see close to an early workload next week at Oakland.

Jamaal Charles totaled seven yards on three carries Sunday in the Broncos’ Week 11 loss to the Bengals.

Charles was in on just four-of-82 offensive snaps. It was easily his lightest workload of the year as Denver's backfield duties were mostly split between C.J. Anderson and Devontae Booker. With Booker healthy, Charles seems to be getting phased out of the Broncos’ offense. He won’t be on the fantasy radar next week at Oakland.

Devontae Booker rushed for 44 yards on 14 carries while adding five grabs for 54 yards on six targets Sunday in the Broncos’ Week 11 loss to the Bengals.

The 19 touches were his most since Week 13 of last year while his 98 yards from scrimmage also represented a new season-high. Four of Booker’s five catches came in the second half with Denver in catch-up mode. He was on the field for 18 more snaps than C.J. Anderson and out-touched him 19-15. It looks like Denver’s backfield, which was once dominated by Anderson, has devolved into a two-man timeshare. Both players will be in the RB3 mix next week at Oakland.

Andy Dalton completed 15-of-25 passes for 154 yards and three touchdowns while notching four yards on three carries Sunday in the Bengals’ Week 11 win over the Broncos.

It wasn’t a big yardage day for Dalton, which was probably to be expected against a tough Broncos secondary. That being said, Dalton did well to lead three touchdown drives including two in the first half. He zipped a one-yard touchdown to Tyler Kroft off a play-action pass in the first quarter before threading the needle on a 29-yard score to Alex Erickson early in the second frame. Later he recognized a mismatch with A.J. Green, who beat Bradley Roby for an 18-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter. Dalton has now gone his last four games without throwing an interception after being picked off eight times over his first six outings. He gets the Browns at home in Week 12.

Joe Mixon went for 49 yards on 20 carries while securing two catches for no yards on two targets Sunday in the Bengals’ Week 11 win over the Broncos.

He out-touched Giovani Bernard by an overwhelming 22-4 margin, though obviously the huge workload didn’t amount to much as Mixon stumbled to just 2.5 yards per carry. His longest run of the afternoon went for all of eight yards. Mixon’s volume is finally trending in the right direction but he’s not much use to fantasy owners when he’s constantly running intro brick walls. Next week he’ll face the Browns, who bottled him up for 29 yards on 17 carries in Week 4.
Nov 19 - 9:19 PM

Giovani Bernard lost four yards on three carries and added one catch for eight yards on two targets Sunday in the Bengals’ Week 11 win over the Broncos.

Incredibly, Bernard has now rushed for negative yards in two of his last three games. That’s just not going to cut it. With Joe Mixon emerging as the Bengals’ bell-cow, Bernard won’t be a fantasy consideration next week against the Browns.
Nov 19 - 9:18 PM

A.J. Green nabbed four-of-nine targets for 50 yards and a touchdown Sunday in the Bengals’ Week 11 win over the Broncos.

Green was silenced by Aqib Talib in the first half, catching his first pass with just over a minute left in the second quarter. The Bengals changed gears after halftime, managing to isolate Green against Bradley Roby. That proved to be a much better matchup for Green, who dusted Roby for an 18-yard touchdown to put Cincinnati up ten with under nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter. Green has now scored in six-of-eight games since Bill Lazor’s promotion to offensive coordinator. Even with a tough matchup looming against Jason McCourty, fantasy owners shouldn’t hesitate to fire up Green as a WR1 next week versus Cleveland.
Nov 19 - 9:16 PM

Brandon LaFell came down with three catches for 37 yards on five targets Sunday in the Bengals’ Week 11 win over the Broncos.

Most of his yardage came off a play-action pass from Andy Dalton early in the second quarter. Benefiting from a missed tackle by safety Justin Simmons, LaFell was able to turn it into a 29-yard gain. That was really the extent of LaFell’s production as he was held to just one catch for six yards after halftime. This was a big letdown from LaFell’s previous game when he tallied 95 yards and a touchdown on six catches in a loss to Tennessee. He’ll tangle with the Browns at home in Week 12.
