An MRI revealed no structural damage to Jake Locker's wrist, but he remains questionable for Week 4.

NFL Network's Jeff Darlington reports Ryan Tannehill is "scheduled to start Sunday."

Darlington joins the Miami Herald in reporting Tannehill is expected to remain under center against the Raiders. Coach Joe Philbin has tried to muddle his quarterback situation in the press, but all the early signs suggest Tannehill will keep his job at least another week. Philbin should be focusing on his poorly-designed game plans instead of playing games with the media.

Bucs QB Josh McCown (sprained thumb) has yet to rule himself out for Week 4 against the Steelers.

McCown says he's "healing and getting better." It's a sign McCown isn't dealing with an overly serious injury, but we doubt the 0-3 Bucs push the envelope with their struggling starter. They're likely to the point where they'd like to get a look at No. 2 Mike Glennon, and this allows them to do so in a controversy-free way. McCown's status will be updated when the Bucs return to practice on Wednesday.

Jets released CB Ellis Lankster.

Lankster had played just one snap through two games.
Sep 23 - 6:12 PM

Chargers waived DE Lawrence Guy.

It's a bit of a surprise, as Guy had played 47 snaps through the Chargers' first three games. The Bolts needed his roster spot to sign help at linebacker. Guy is still only 24. He could latch on elsewhere this season, or return to the Chargers.
Sep 23 - 6:09 PM

Chargers signed RB Shaun Draughn, ILB Kevin Reddick and OLB Cordarro Law.

Law was promoted from the practice squad. Waived by the Bears last week, Draughn will slide in as the Chargers' No. 3 running back as they wait for Ryan Mathews (knee) to get healthy. Despite the Chargers' unsettled running back situation, Draughn is well off the radar in 12-14 team leagues.
Sep 23 - 6:03 PM

Bucs re-signed WR Louis Murphy.

WR Chris Owusu was waived in a corresponding roster move. Murphy was released before Week 1 as he recovered from a back injury. He'll bring up the rear of the Bucs' receiver corps.
Sep 23 - 5:58 PM

Chargers signed RB D.J. Adams to the practice squad.

An undrafted free agent out of small-school Portland State, Adams originally signed with the Cowboys. He's taking the practice-squad spot of Marion Grice, who was signed by the Cardinals on Monday.
