Shonn Greene rushed seven times for 28 yards in the Titans' Week 16 loss to the Jaguars.

He wasn't targeted in the passing game. Greene must have been tuckered out after getting his "revenge" on the Jets last Sunday, as his seven touches were 10 fewer than he received in Week 15. Bishop Sankey again led the Titans' committee. Greene gets to close the book on an(other) uninspiring campaign against the Colts next week.

Bishop Sankey rushed 14 times for 44 yards in the Titans' Week 16 loss to the Jaguars.

He added a nine-yard reception. One week after coach Ken Whisenhunt decided to let Shonn Greene get his "revenge" against the Jets, Sankey was reinstalled as the chairman of Tennessee's committee, but he was again unimpressive. Sankey showed speed, but no wiggle, running right into defenders and then getting taken down. He averaged just 3.1 yards per carry, and has surpassed 4.0 just once in his past 11 games. Sankey has elite measurables, but they've yet to translate to on-field success.

Charlie Whitehurst completed 24-of-35 passes for 287 yards and a touchdown in the Titans' 21-13, Week 16 loss to the Jaguars.

Clipboard Jesus came out dropping dimes, going 6-of-6 for 71 yards and a touchdown on the Titans' opening drive. He cooled off considerably thereafter, but still dropped a surprising amount of precision passes into tight spaces. He was hurt by a lack of awareness from both Delanie Walker and Derek Hagan on incompletions that should have gone for big yards. Whitehurst has actually performed reasonably well in his spot duty this season, but done nothing to disprove the notion that he's a career backup. He won't be on the fantasy radar for next week's finale against the Colts.
Dec 18 - 11:31 PM

Toby Gerhart rushed 12 times for 53 yards and a touchdown before leaving the Jaguars' Week 16 win over the Titans with a rib injury.

He added a seven-yard reception. Shaken up in the second half, Gerhart briefly played through what was billed a rib "contusion," but was then ruled out late in the fourth quarter. He operated as the Jags' clear lead back before going down, but ceded some touches to Storm Johnson and Jordan Todman. Gerhart was feisty between the tacklers, shedding defenders and showing off some spin moves. He looked miserably slow when the Jags tried to send him around the edge, however. Gerhart should be considered questionable for next week's finale against the Texans.
Dec 18 - 11:27 PM

Blake Bortles completed 13-of-26 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown in the Jaguars' 21-13, Week 16 win over the Titans, adding five rushes for 50 yards.

Bortles' sprained foot was not an issue. In the merciful end to an unimpressive slate of Thursday night games, Tennessee and Jacksonville put on a reasonably good show. Bortles got off to a painfully slow start, completing just four passes for 10 yards through the Jags' first four drives. He never exactly got in a groove, but finally started driving the ball and sustaining drives. He took "just" four sacks four days after getting walloped for eight by the Ravens. Bortles committed a fumble, but the Jags recovered. Bortles hasn't put a lot of positive things on tape, but has had abysmal protection and a revolving door at running back, receiver and tight end. The jury remains out.
Dec 18 - 11:19 PM

Allen Hurns has 15 catches for 148 yards and a touchdown over his past three games.

He's averaged nine targets in the process. Hurns has been an up-and-down option all season, but is a red-zone threat. That, coupled with his recent usage puts him on the WR3 fringes for Week 16.
Dec 18 - 8:14 PM

Paul Richardson was added to the Seahawks' injury report Thursday, missing practice with a hamstring issue.

It's a new injury for Richardson, who likely pulled up lame in practice. The Seahawks' No. 3 receiver should be considered questionable for Week 16.
Dec 18 - 7:42 PM

Seahawks TE Tony Moeaki (shoulder) has yet to resume practicing.

The oft-injured tight end is looking like he's going to miss Week 16. Unless the Seahawks are 100 percent confident it's a day-to-day injury, Moeaki will be a strong candidate for injured reserve.
