Manny Pina went 3-for-5 with a double and an RBI as the Brewers topped the Diamondbacks on Sunday afternoon.

Pina tacked on an RBI single in the sixth inning that ran the Brewers' advantage to 8-1. He has been swinging a hot bat this season in his limited action, slashing .315/.358/.483 with a pair of home runs and 13 RBI.

Keon Broxton tripled and scored a pair of runs on Sunday as the Brewers topped the Diamondbacks.

Broxton led off the game with a three-bagger and scored the game's first run on a fielder's choice off the bat of Hernan Perez. He finished the day 1-for-4 plus a walk and is now hitting .261/.323/.458 with five homers, 14 RBI and 10 stolen bases on the season.
May 28 - 7:06 PM

Brandon Crawford went 1-for-4 with a two-run single and three total RBI in Sunday's win over the Braves.

Crawford drove in his first run via an RBI ground out in the first inning, then later came through in the very next inning with a two-run single to cap off a four-run frame. He has notched hits in eight of his last 10 games and is slashing .266/.297/.424 with a modest three homers and 16 RBI across 139 at-bats this season.
May 28 - 7:03 PM

Eduardo Nunez went 2-for-4 with an RBI single and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Braves.

Nunez picked up an RBI single off R.A. Dickey in the second inning. The 29-year-old third baseman has been hot of late, collecting 20 hits in 55 at-bats in his last 14 games. For the season as a whole, he is slashing .283/.306/.370 with two homers, 17 RBI, 21 runs scored and 13 steals over the course of 48 games played.
May 28 - 6:57 PM

Nick Markakis went 2-for-4 with a run scored in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Not much doing offensively for the Giants in this one, as they finished with just two extra-base hits on the afternoon. For his part, Markakis holds a .301/.376/.392 triple-slash with one homer, 24 RBI and 26 runs scored on the season. The veteran outfielder is working on a six-game hitting streak and has done a nice job hitting for average, but his almost complete lack of power caps his fantasy upside.
May 28 - 6:52 PM

Matt Kemp went 3-for-4 with a double in Sunday's loss to the Giants.

Kemp collected double No. 15 on the season off of Johnny Cueto. This was his fourth multi-hit performance in his last 10 games. The veteran outfielder has done a phenomenal job with the bat this season and is slashing a hearty .344/.379/.588 with eight homers and 27 RBI over the course of 38 games played.
May 28 - 6:47 PM

Johnny Cueto (blisters) tossed six innings of one-run ball while striking out eight in Sunday's win over the Braves.

Cueto has developed blisters on both his right middle finger and right index finger. He is hoping to build up some callouses while pitching through those pesky concerns. Sunday's start was an encouraging one, as Cueto scattered six hits while walking just one without showing any control issues or outward signs of discomfort. Only a Kurt Suzuki RBI ground out in the sixth inning prevented him from a shutout performance. The veteran ace will carry a 4.37 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 68/18 K/BB ratio (70 innings) into a road start against the Phillies next time he toes the rubber.
May 28 - 6:43 PM

R.A. Dickey struggled mightily in Sunday's loss to the Giants, surrendering seven runs (six earned) on six hits over six innings.

Dickey had major issues with his control in this loss, walking five and throwing only 53 of his 87 pitches for strikes. The Giants took early advantage of his ineffectiveness, striking for two runs in the first inning, four in the second and one more in the third before settling down. Veteran knuckleballer Dickey saw his ERA rise from 4.17 to 4.65 with Sunday's dismal showing. He will carry that -- plus an unappealing 1.58 WHIP -- into a road start against the Reds next time he takes to the mound.
