ESPN's Pat McManamon wrote "all signs point" to Robert Griffin III getting the start this week.

Hue Jackson has yet to name a starter, and McManamon's prediction comes with the important caveat of "provided he makes it through practice and looks like he has shaken off three months of rust." Still, it makes sense for the Browns to see what Griffin can do, especially considering they averaged fewer than 10 points in their last four games. Even if Griffin gets the nod, the offense around him is too poor and the chance of an in-game injury is too high to trust him in the first-round of the playoffs.

Dolphins C Mike Pouncey (hip) is unsure if he will play again this season.

"I don't know. We'll see how it goes," Pouncey said. The center did say his hip "feels good" and he is making progress, but that progress has clearly been slow. On the bright side, the Dolphins did get LT Branden Albert and LG Laremy Tunsil back against the Ravens.

Bill Belichick said DE Jabaal Sheard has been good the last couple weeks.

Sheard did not even travel with the team for the Week 11 game in San Francisco, but he has played 44 percent and 54 percent of the defensive snaps in the last two games with seven tackles and a couple pass breakups over that span. Too good not to play for a struggling defense, Sheard should remain involved the rest of the way.

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer (eye surgery) returned to work Monday and will travel with the team to Jacksonville for Sunday's game.

Zimmer underwent emergency surgery to repair a detached retina last Wednesday and was forced to miss Thursday night's game against the Cowboys. There was some concern he would not be cleared to fly in time to travel with the team for Week 14, but that no longer appears to be a concern. He should be back on the sidelines against the Jaguars.

Texans CB Johnathan Joseph exited Week 13 against the Packers with an injury to his ribs.

Joseph left the game in the fourth quarter and never returned. The corner said after the game, "It's a little hard to breathe right now." Relying on their defense to carry them to the playoffs, the Texans cannot afford to be without Joseph.

Malcolm Mitchell played 67-of-79 (85%) snaps Week 13 against the Rams.

As expected with Rob Gronkowski out, Mitchell became an almost every-snap player as the Patriots transitioned to a more three-wide offense. With Danny Amendola looking likely to miss the rest of the regular season with a high-ankle sprain, Mitchell should continue to play the vast majority of the snaps. Coming off a 10-target game, Mitchell will be a solid WR3 next week against the Ravens.

Doug Martin (back?) said he was "doing fine" after sitting out the final three drives Week 13 against the Chargers.

Martin said he was "bent back" late in the game, and that is why he sat out. Coach Dirk Koetter also said the running back was fine after the game. It looks like Martin will be healthy enough to play this week against the Saints, but his workload is suddenly in question, especially with Charles Sims (knee, injured reserve) potentially returning.

Broncos RB Kapri Bibbs was spotted with a boot on his left ankle after Sunday's game.

Bibbs reportedly suffered a high-ankle sprain against the Jaguars, meaning he is going to be out at least a couple weeks. With Devontae Booker struggling and not much else on the depth chart, the Broncos will need to add someone off the street. Justin Forsett was just cut by the Lions.
