DeAngelo Williams (hand) is practicing in full for Week 17.

Williams should have a limited role Sunday against Atlanta. He doesn't project for more than change of pace carries in his return. Jonathan Stewart is averaging a league-high 109 yards per game over the last four weeks.
Dec 24 - 8:24 PM

Jermaine Kearse (hamstring) did not practice Wednesday.

Kearse is expected to miss at least one week with a Grade-1 hamstring strain and isn't a lock to be ready for Seattle's first playoff game. Paul Richardson will start opposite Doug Baldwin in his absence.
Dec 24 - 7:31 PM

Ronnie Hillman (foot) practiced in full Wednesday for the first time since his Week 10 injury.

Hillman practiced on a limited basis last week, but was ruled inactive on Monday night against the Bengals. The Broncos often make their injured players practice for two weeks before activating them. So we'd consider Hillman on track to play against the Raiders in Week 17, serving as one of C.J. Anderson's backups. It's hard to see Hillman stealing anything more than 3-5 touches from Anderson, who has played at an extremely high level in his six starts.

Pierre Thomas did not practice Wednesday due to a rib injury.

When Thomas left the Week 16 loss to the Falcons early, it was announced as a foot injury. Now he's listed with a rib issue. Regardless, we should consider Thomas very questionable for Sunday's meaningless game at Tampa. His absence would upgrade the situation for Mark Ingram and give Khiry Robinson a shot at a few extra touches.
Dec 24 - 6:17 PM

Steven Jackson (quad) is not expected to play in Sunday's Week 17 game against the Panthers.

At age 31, Jackson wasn't going to recover from a pulled quad muscle in seven days. So the Falcons will roll into their showdown for the NFC South with a committee of Devonta Freeman and Jacquizz Rodgers at running back. Practice squad callup Jerome Smith will be the No. 3 back. Note that following S-Jax's injury last week, Rodgers played 25 snaps compared to 18 for Freeman. Quizz will handle more of the third-down work and pass game duties, while the rookie handles more base work. We far prefer Freeman as the plug-n-play -- he's more versatile and a better inside runner.
Dec 24 - 6:07 PM

Julio Jones (oblique) did not practice Wednesday.

Jones didn't look fully healthy last week, but still managed seven catches for a team-high 107 yards. The Falcons are resting him leading up to Sunday's NFC South championship. Roddy White (ankle) was also held out.
Dec 24 - 4:14 PM

Carlos Hyde (ankle, back) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Hyde will likely miss his second straight game against the Cardinals. Alfonso Smith should continue to back up Frank Gore.
Dec 24 - 4:08 PM

Joique Bell (Achilles) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

Lions OC Joe Lombardi doesn't expect Bell's injury to keep him out this week. Bell was suspended for the first quarter of Sunday's win, but should start and handle the majority of carries against the Packers.
