The Celtics are one of the five or six teams Andrew Bogut will consider signing with after he clears waivers on Wednesday, according to the Boston Globe.

Adam Himmelsbach of the Globe writes that "reports stating Bogut has decided to sign with the Cavaliers after he clears waivers on Wednesday are inaccurate, and that the Celtics are very much in contention." Bogut has purportedly already spoken with Danny Ainge and will talk with coach Brad Stevens on Tuesday. The Celtics have solid depth but a lack of rebounding has been a weakness all season. Bogut will likely see only limited minutes off the bench in the regular season no matter where he lands, so he can be left on the wire.

The San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that, barring any unexpected setbacks, Jose Calderon will join Golden State for Thursday’s game in Chicago.

Calderon has already completed his buyout with the Lakers and is expected to sign with the Lakers once he clears waivers on Wednesday. Calderon should remain on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues, as he will ride the pine in Golden State.

The Pistons are not interested in signing Brandon Jennings, according to coach Stan Van Gundy.

"With Ish [Smith] here, I don’t think it would be a fit. From Brandon’s standpoint, my guess is he wants to go somewhere he can play," Van Gundy said. Van Gundy was of the belief that Jennings would land in Charlotte, but the Hornets seem content to stick with Briante Weber. The Wizards are now reportedly the favorite to land Jennings.

Thon Maker said he is modeling his game after Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Maker stated that because they both have incredible length and athleticism in common, he is attempting to incorporate many aspects of Antetokounmpo's game into his own development. "We have similar builds so I try to look at what he does and just mirror it. In practices, I’m trying to do all of the same things. Then, I want to put it to work in games." Maker's fantasy value is limited because he is averaging just 7.7 minutes per game this season, but he has shown flashes of immense upside, which makes his keeper-league potential significant.

Michael Beasley (knee) left the locker room on crutches Monday night and is scheduled to have tests done on the knee Tuesday in Milwaukee.

Beasley hurt his left knee in the second quarter and it appeared to be a serious injury, with Beasley's knee buckling and him immediately signaling for help. For what it's worth, Matthew Dellavedova said: "He seemed in pretty good spirits when we got back here. I think he'll be OK. We'll see." We will pass along an update as soon as one is provided. Khris Middleton and Mirza Teletovic will receive a fantasy boost if Beasley misses time.

The Lakers plan to sign guard David Nwaba of the L.A. D-Fenders to a 10-day contract, according to Shams Charania of the Vertical.

Known primarily for his perimeter defense, Nwaba is averaging 13.9 points (on 64.3 percent shooting), 7.0 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.2 blocks over 38 D-League games this season. He can be left on the waiver wire in all fantasy leagues, as it is very unlikely he will see consistent minutes with the Lakers.

Chris Bosh - F/C - Heat

Chris Bosh said that his "health is great" and intimated that he has not ruled out returning to the NBA.

"I'm feeling good, still working out and just really still staying ready," Bosh said during his debut as an analyst on TNT Monday night. However, he didn't directly address any specific plans he might have regarding his future and a possible return to the league. Bosh last appeared in an NBA game on Feb. 9 of 2016.

Dwight Howard should not have been ejected from Monday night's win over the Celtics, the NBA said in a statement.

Howard was ejected with 4:03 remaining in the third quarter when he received his second technical of the game for hanging on the rim after a dunk. However, the league said later that technical foul should have been ruled "non-unsportsmanlike" and should not have counted toward an automatic ejection. Howard was still able to tally 17 points and 12 boards in the 28 minutes he played. He will be ready to roll on Wednesday when the Hawks host the Mavs.
