Shane Vereen rushed once for five yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for 18 yards in the Giants' Week 3 loss to the Eagles.

The Giants increased Orleans Darkwa's role in this game, but Darkwa went out with a fourth-quarter back injury and did not return. They may have to look into increasing Vereen's Week 4 usage against the Bucs, or involving rookie Wayne Gallman. Either way, Vereen will be a poor flex option, even in PPR leagues.

Isaiah Crowell rushed 12 times for 44 yards with two receptions for 10 yards.

The 44 rushing yards are actually a season-high for Crowell as the Browns have steadily trailed on the scoreboard through three weeks, something that doesn't figure to change anytime soon. Crowell has now carried 39 times for 114 yards (2.9 yards per carry) through three weeks. At best, he is a flex option next week at home versus the Bengals.

Julio Jones caught 7-of-12 targets for 91 yards in the Falcons' Week 3 win over the Lions.

Jones remains without a touchdown after three games. Matt Ryan tried to get him one on a deep ball where Jones got behind the defense, but the safety was able to close on the pass and knock it away in the end zone. A blowup game is coming. Jones gets the Bills' secondary in Atlanta in Week 4.

Paul Perkins rushed nine times for 22 yards and caught 2-of-2 targets for eight yards in the Giants' Week 3 loss to the Eagles.

Every touch the Giants give to Perkins is basically a wasted play, but they lost Orleans Darkwa to a back injury on Sunday, and Darkwa did not return. The Giants may want to look into using rookie Wayne Gallman because Perkins is not the answer. He should not be in fantasy lineups for Week 4 at Tampa Bay.

Zay Jones was held without a catch in Week 3 against Denver.

It's another step back after Jones had just two catches and dropped a game-winning touchdown last week. Jones is still the No. 2 receiver behind Jordan Matthews, but doesn't have any fantasy value.
Sep 24 - 5:19 PM

Danny Amendola hauled in 3-of-5 targets for 48 yards in the Patriots' Week 3 win over the Texans.

Amendola was heavily involved before exiting Week 1 with a concussion, but the story could not have been any more different against the Texans. He did set up the game-winning touchdowns with a 3rd-and-18 conversion on the final drive, but ultimately Amendola had a disappointingly small role. He will still be worth a look as a WR3 in PPR next week against the Panthers, but his floor looks lower than expected.
Sep 24 - 5:16 PM

Evan Engram caught 5-of-7 targets for 45 yards in the Giants' Week 3 loss to the Eagles.

Engram now has at least four catches in each of his first three NFL games, and is clearly this year's most valuable first-round rookie tight end over O.J. Howard and David Njoku. Engram did have a tough Week 3 matchup against a perennially strong Eagles tight end defense. Engram's matchup should loosen up in Week 4 against the Bucs, but he's still just a TE2 option.
Sep 24 - 5:16 PM

Jordan Matthews caught 3-of-5 targets for 61 yards in Week 3 against Denver.

Matthews led Buffalo in receiving in a game Tyrod Taylor attempted just 26 passes. He now has eight catches for 152 yards through three games. Matthews is the the clear No. 1 option in the pass game, but doesn't have much upside in the Bills' run-dominated offense.
