Reggie Wayne (elbow) returned to a full practice on Friday.
Wayne is now back on track to start Monday night's game against the Giants.
Tony Romo (back) is listed as questionable for Week 9 versus Arizona.
He missed a third straight practice on Friday. The fact that playcaller Scott Linehan sounded pessimistic about Romo's chances of playing after practice indicates Romo is on the doubtful side of his "Q" tag, but the Cowboys claim the decision will go down to game time. Regardless of which quarterback is under center, expect Dallas to lean heavily on its rushing attack against the Cards.
The Cowboys plan to move Sean Lee to weak-side linebacker in 2015.
On injured reserve with a torn left ACL, Lee is expected to be ready for training camp next summer. He will play "Will 'backer" in Rod Marinelli's defense after spending his first four seasons in the middle. The Cowboys will hope Rolando McClain continues to solidify himself as a legitimate starting Mike 'backer.
Robert Griffin III (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 9.
RG3 will start against the Vikings. Coach Jay Gruden said Friday the Skins will open up their offense with Griffin under center, after treating him with kid gloves in his Week 1 start. He's worth a look in two-QB leagues.
Chiefs SS Eric Berry (ankle) will return in Week 9.
It's good news for a Chiefs fantasy defense that should be streamed aggressively against the Jets with Michael Vick at quarterback this week.
Ryan Mathews (MCL sprain) returned to a limited practice on Friday, and afterwards coach Mike McCoy announced Mathews is "getting close."
Mathews has been ruled out for Week 9 against the Dolphins, but he should be back following San Diego's Week 10 bye. He should also be owned in all leagues as the favorite for early-down carries and goal-line work in one of the league's best offenses. We expect Branden Oliver to stay involved once Mathews returns, but likely only as a passing-down back. Mathews is San Diego's bellcow runner and offers stretch-run RB1/2 upside in non-PPR leagues.
Justin Forsett (ankle) is listed as probable for Week 9.
He'll be an RB2 against the Steelers' vulnerable run defense on Sunday night.
Bucs waived/injured WR/KR Trindon Holliday.
They just signed him 11 days ago. Holliday will go on I.R.
