Jordan Howard (shoulder) was limited in Wednesday's practice.

It's actually a good sign after Howard was spotted with his arm in a sling following Sunday's loss to the Bucs. It puts Howard on track to suit up this weekend, though his workload and effectiveness will be up in the air against the Steelers' stout defense. Even in standard leagues, Tarik Cohen is the fantasy play for Week 3.

Paul Richardson (finger) is practicing Wednesday.

Richardson played through a dislocated finger Sunday, but his Week 3 status isn't in doubt. He should play his normal snaps against the Titans.

Jared Cook (shoulder) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

Cook looked healthy in Week 2, snaring four-of-six targets for 25 yards in a blowout win over the Jets. This could simply be a case of the Raiders managing his practice reps. Regardless, he should be ready to roll for Sunday Night Football against the Redskins.

Amari Cooper (knee) was limited at Wednesday's practice.

This is the same routine Cooper has been following all year. He'll be fine for Week 3 at Washington, though he has a tough matchup against shutdown corner Josh Norman.

Seahawks RG Oday Aboushi is expected to start Week 3 against Tennessee.

Seattle is shaking up their offensive line after a disastrous start to the season. Aboushi should take over for Mark Glowinski, who is the third-lowest ranked guard at PFF. Seahawks LT Rees Odhiambo is also in danger of losing his job.
Sep 20 - 7:15 PM

Chargers CB Jason Verrett (knee) remained sidelined at Wednesday's practice.

Verrett aggravated his surgically-repaired left knee at practice last week and the Chargers haven't offered a clear timetable for his return. Trevor Williams will continue to fill in opposite Casey Hayward.

Panthers C Ryan Kalil's (neck) status is up in the air for Week 3.

Kalil couldn't get cleared for Sunday's game with Buffalo. He didn't practice Wednesday and is looking doubtful for Week 3. The good news is the Panthers don't think Kalil's neck injury is related to his 2016 shoulder issue. Tyler Larsen will make another start if Kalil is held out.

When asked about suspended SLB Lawrence Timmons, Dolphins coach Adam Gase said, "I would say that you can be forgiven if the right steps are taken."

He was suspended indefinitely after going AWOL over the weekend. There have been rumblings of Miami potentially parting ways with Timmons, though Roy Cummings of Florida Football Insiders believes Gase has now established a "path" for his reinstatement. To make up for the loss of Timmons, the Dolphins acquired Stephone Anthony from the Saints earlier this week.
