Yoenis Cespedes ripped a grand slam and a two-run shot in Sunday's blowout victory over the White Sox.

Cespedes' slam in the first inning off of Jose Quintana got the scoring going for the Tigers and he took Quintana deep again in the third inning to pad their lead. The slugger entered the weekend without a longball but finishes it with three to go along with 10 RBI and a nice .300/.314/.600 batting line.

Tom Koehler's disastrous fourth inning, in which he allowed seven runs, led to a loss in Sunday's start facing the Mets.

Koehler had gone nine up, nine down heading into the fourth. But the Mets loaded the bases with no outs on two singles and a walk before Koehler was able to record the first out of the inning. From there, the Mets singled twice, drew a bases-loaded walk, and doubled to rack up six runs against Koehler, who then departed. The Mets tacked on one more with a single off of reliever Sam Dyson. Koehler, over his 3 1/3 innings, yielded five hits and a pair of walks while striking out one. That fourth inning aside, Koehler has otherwise been reliable this season but his inability to miss bats severely hampers his fantasy value. He takes on the Nationals at home next.

Jeurys Familia worked around a leadoff walk to convert his sixth save as the Mets defeated the Marlins on Sunday.

With a one-run lead, Familia walked Reid Brignac to start the ninth inning. Brignac was promptly moved to second on a sacrifice bunt by Dee Gordon, but Familia got back-to-back ground outs to third base to end the game. Despite the win, it was a terrible afternoon for the Mets. Nevertheless, Familia moved to 6-for-6 in save chances since taking over for the injured and suspended Jenrry Mejia.

Jose Abreu was credited with an RBI triple in Sunday's loss to the Tigers.

It could have just as easily been ruled a single and a two-base error, as J.D. Martinez misplayed a ball in right field to allow Melky Cabrera to score and Abreu to end up at third. It's the big first baseman's first triple of the year and third of his career. He's driven in five runs over the last two days to push his RBI total to seven.

Nationals prospect Wilmer Difo collected five hits Saturday for High-A Potomac.

One of the hits was Difo's first career grand slam. Last year's South Atlantic League MVP continues to impress every step of the way. The 23-year-old swiped 49 bases for Low-A Hagerstown in 2014 and already has three thefts for Potomac. Difo could be headed for a promotion if this keeps up.

Christian Yelich went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Sunday's loss to the Mets.

Yelich, who signed a seven-year, $49.57 million contract extension in March, is off to a miserable start. Sunday's performance dropped his average to .200 and he has only one extra-base hit and one stolen base. He has come to the plate only 49 times, which is a small sample size, but it's not the start to the season the Marlins envisioned when they agreed to the pact with Yelich last month. Perhaps some of Yelich's struggles can be explained by a recent bout with back tightness.

Ruben Tejada went 1-for-4 with a three-run double as the Mets escaped with a win over the Marlins on Sunday.

Tejada struck the big blow in the Mets' seven-run fourth inning, clearing the bases with a double to chase Tom Koehler from the game. It was only Tejada's third start of the season. He'll still mostly be relegated to the bench despite the recent injury to third baseman David Wright.

Billy Hamilton (groin) is not in the Reds' lineup Sunday.

Hamilton strained his groin during Saturday's game and is listed as day-to-day. Brennan Boesch is taking his spot in center field. Devin Mesoraco (hip), as expected, is also still out, with Tucker Barnhart catching Mike Leake. The Reds are also going with Skip Schumaker in left field over Marlon Byrd.
