Bartolo Colon pitched well on Sunday while allowing two runs over seven innings, but took the loss against the Twins.

Colon was good on a night where his opponent Jose Berrios was great, so the former takes a hard-luck loss. He allowed seven hits and a walk, and he struck out five. Even with the strong seven innings Colon still owns an unhealthy 4.72 ERA, and he doesn't miss enough bats (54 strikeouts in 87 1/3 innings) to have any fantasy value. It's still fun to see the 45-year-old pitch well, though. He's back on the mound on Saturday to face the White Sox.

Jose Berrios struck out 12 hitters in seven shutout innings in a 2-0 victory over the Rangers on Sunday.

It was a dominant effort from Berrios against the Texas lineup, as he scattered three hits and walked two hitters to go with the aforementioned 12 punchouts. The right-hander has now allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his past eight starts, and his ERA has lowered to 3.15 in the process. Simply put, there aren’t many who have more talent than Berrios, and he’s shown as much for most of the 2018 season. He’ll look to continue his strong run on Saturday when he squares off against the Cubs.

Mark Trumbo hit a pinch-hit, two-run homer in a loss to the Braves on Sunday.

The homer is the eighth of the season, and it came off of Brandon McCarthy with two outs in the fifth inning. Trumbo was forced to sit because of soreness in his knee, but he was still able to make an impact with his power. He's now hitting .268/.324/.484 on the season to go along with the eight homers and 22 RBI over 40 appearances for the Orioles in 2018.
Jun 24 - 4:47 PM

Nick Markakis doubled twice and drove in a run in a victory over the Orioles on Sunday.

Markakis also scored a run. The RBI came on a double that scored Ozzie Albies to give the Braves a 3-1 lead in the third. He now has 25 doubles on the season, which puts him on pace to have over 50 on the 2018 campaign. The veteran outfielder continues to impress, and has his line up to .328/.392/.490 over 76 games.
Jun 24 - 4:44 PM

David Hess allowed five runs over four innings in a loss to the Braves on Sunday.

Hess walked two and struck out four, and he allowed seven hits while throwing 63-of-93 pitches for strikes. It's three-straight starts that the left-hander has allowed five runs, and his ERA of 5.44 is an accurate description of his talent as a starter. It would be a mistake to stream him on Friday when Hess and the Orioles face off against the Angels.
Jun 24 - 4:41 PM

Brandon McCarthy picked up a win by allowing three runs over five innings on Sunday against the Orioles.

It's the sixth win of the season for the veteran right-hander. McCarthy wasn't great in this outing, but he was much better than Baltimore starter David Hess and got plenty of run support. On the year, McCarthy owns a 4.92 ERA, and he sports a 65/21 strikeout-to-walk ratio. He's back on the bump on Saturday when the Braves face the Cardinals in St. Louis.
Jun 24 - 4:38 PM

Ozzie Albies went 3-for-4 with two runs scored in a 7-3 victory over the Orioles on Sunday.

Albies now has seven hits in his last two games, and it appears his struggles are starting to come to a close. The 21-year-old infielder now has a .264 average on the season, and while he's not showing the same power stroke he did to start the year, he still has his slugging percentage of .492. The future is exceptionally bright for Albies, but he can still help your squad in 2018 as well.
Jun 24 - 4:36 PM

Rajai Davis went 2-for-2 with two runs scored and a stolen bases on Sunday in a win over the Tigers.

The steal gives Davis 16 on the season on, and he's been thrown out just three times in his 19 attempts. His other numbers leave a lot to be desired (.242/.296/.290, one homer in 52 games), but if you're looking for steals and can take the hit in the average and slugging, you know where to find them.
