Bucs declared LB Mason Foster, OT Anthony Collins, WR Robert Herron, WR Solomon Patton, RB Mike James, CB Isaiah Frey and DE George Uko inactive for Week 17 against the Saints.

Dec 28 - 11:33 AM

The Bills declared CB Stephon Gilmore (concussion) and DT Marcell Dareus (knee) inactive for Week 17 against the Patriots.

Gilmore has proven to be a serviceable NFL corner, but he has not reached the heights expected when he was selected with the 10th overall pick of the 2012 draft. Owed just $2 million in 2015, Gilmore will certainly be back with the team. The Bills also declared RB Bryce Brown, WR Marquise Goodwin, TE Chris Gragg, OT Cyrus Kouandjio and OLB Randell Johnson inactive for Week 17.
Dec 28 - 11:32 AM

Rashad Jennings (ankle) is active for Sunday's Week 17 game against the Eagles.

Jennings could have just packed it in for the season, but returns for a meaningless finale. He'll share time with Andre Williams.
Dec 28 - 11:32 AM

Jamaal Charles (ankle, hamstring) is active for Week 17 against the Chargers.

Charles was listed as questionable, but practiced throughout the week. He should be locked into a heavy workload with Chase Daniel starting. The Chiefs inactives are QB Alex Smith, WR Donnie Avery, CB Phillip Gaines, CB Marcus Cooper, C Eric Kush, OL Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, and DL Nick Williams.
Dec 28 - 11:30 AM

Andre Williams (shoulder) and Rashad Jennings (ankle) are both active for Sunday's Week 17 game against the Eagles.

Expect a relatively even timeshare for Williams and Jennings in this one. We'd rather try to exploit the Eagles' defense with Eli Manning, Odell Beckham and the pass game. The Giants inactives: CB Jayron Hosley, LB Devon Kennard, G Eric Herman, OL Adam Gettis, TE Jerome Cunningham and DT Dominique Hamilton.
Dec 28 - 11:26 AM

Robert Griffin III (throwing shoulder) is active for Week 17 against the Cowboys.

RGIII is on the DFS radar against the Cowboys' bend-but-don't-break defense. It's possible Dallas will begin resting starters in the second half. Inactive for the Redskins are RB Chris Thompson, CB Kenny Okoro, G/C Josh LeRibeus, OG Rishaw Johnson, DT Travian Robertson, WR Leonard Hankerson and LB Steve Beauharnais.
Dec 28 - 11:24 AM

Browns first-round CB Justin Gilbert has been declared inactive for Week 17 against the Ravens after being late to a meeting on Saturday.

The fallout from Johnny Manziel's party continues. The No. 8 overall pick in May's draft, Gilbert has been a supreme disappointment in his first season in the NFL. He played behind fourth-round CB Pierre Desir in Week 16, and has had his maturity and ability to pick up NFL defenses openly questioned in the media by his teammates. He will be back with Cleveland in 2015, but Gilbert has the early makings of a first-round bust.

CBS Sports' Jason La Canfora suggests Falcons GM Thomas Dimitroff could be in trouble, particularly if Atlanta loses to the Panthers in Week 17.

Per La Canfora, Dimitroff's future is "hanging in the balance" and it's conceivable owner Arthur Blank cleans house if the Falcons miss the playoffs. Per La Canfora, it would likely take a multi-game run for coach Mike Smith to return. The Falcons "have interest" in Patriots OC Josh McDaniels, and we wouldn't rule out a run at Rex Ryan, whom Blank should have hired in 2009.
