Todd Gurley rushed 21 times for 152 yards and three touchdowns in the Rams' Week 15 win over the Seahawks, adding three catches for 28 yards and a fourth touchdown on three targets.

Steelers rookie RB James Conner exited Week 15 against the Patriots with a knee injury.

Conner appeared to get rolled up at the end of a third-quarter run. He had to be helped off the field. Conner suffered a torn MCL in his right knee in college. With the rookie out, Le'Veon Bell should dominate work even more than usual the rest of the way.
Dec 17 - 6:49 PM

Ryan Grant pulled in two-of-three targets for 20 yards Sunday in the Redskins’ Week 15 win over the Cardinals.

Grant made a nice catch in traffic on a third-quarter slant route. That went for a 15-yard pickup. Aside from that, it was slim pickings for Grant in a game where the Redskins held the ball for just 23 of 60 minutes. Grant will have his work cut out for him next week against the Broncos’ elite secondary.
Dec 17 - 6:23 PM

Aaron Jones rushed three times for 47 yards in the Packers' Week 15 loss to the Panthers, adding a six-yard reception.

Jones managed to out-rush Jamaal Williams by 17 despite getting out-carried 10-3. He looked cannon shot on gains of 23 and 20 in the second quarter. Naturally, for reasons known only to him, Packers coach Mike McCarthy gave Jones just one more touch the rest of the way. That's not a shot at Williams, who has played reasonably well as Packers starter. Jones will be a high-risk FLEX option with some upside for the fantasy finals.
Dec 17 - 6:19 PM

J.J. Nelson absorbed one-of-three targets for 46 yards Sunday in the Cardinals’ Week 15 loss to the Redskins.

Despite his one catch, Nelson still finished second on the team in receiving yards. Nelson’s 46-yard reception was his longest of the season. It came in the second quarter on a play where he was defended by Bashaud Breeland. Nelson had a ball fall through his fingertips in the fourth quarter, but received plenty of contact on the play. The epitome of a boom-or-bust deep threat, Nelson won’t be on the fantasy radar next week, even in a cupcake matchup against the Giants.
Dec 17 - 6:15 PM

Ricky Seals-Jones contributed two catches for 11 yards on six targets Sunday in the Cardinals’ Week 15 loss to the Redskins.

He was the intended target on Blaine Gabbert’s interception, though Gabbert deserves most of the blame for the misfire. Seals-Jones was expected to work as the lead tight end in Jermaine Gresham’s absence but instead he was out-snapped 76-31 by Troy Niklas, who handled three catches for a season-high 41 yards in the loss. RSJ has averaged just 25 yards over his three-game touchdown drought and will be a shaky streaming option against the Giants in Week 16.
Dec 17 - 6:13 PM

Rex Burkhead exited Week 15 against the Steelers with a left knee injury.

Burkhead was injured on a carry near the goal line in the third quarter. It was tough to see what happened, but the fact he was quickly ruled out suggests Burkhead is dealing with a serious injury. Burkhead did convert a short touchdown in the first half before exiting. Dion Lewis should handle the goal-line work the rest of the way.
Dec 17 - 6:13 PM

Elijhaa Penny collected 45 yards on 10 carries Sunday in the Cardinals’ Week 15 loss to the Redskins.

The Cardinals never got close enough to score a touchdown, but if they had, the 234-pound Penny would have been in line for goal-line work. The 10 carries were more than Penny had seen in his previous 12 games combined. Penny could see a handful of carries as a short-yardage hammer against the Giants next week, but he won’t be a realistic fantasy option.
