Cardinals QB Drew Stanton (sprained ACL, MCL) returned to practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

It's an eye-brow raiser, but there's still little reason to believe Stanton will be ready to return just 10 days after spraining his knee. The Cardinals are likely just trying to confuse the situation for the Seahawks. It is a sign, however, that Week 17 could be a realistic possibility. Stanton's status will be updated on Friday, but will fully expect Ryan Lindley to be under center for Week 16.
Dec 18 - 7:19 PM

Delanie Walker (knee) is active for Week 16 against the Jaguars.

Walker's injury was never a serious concern. He gets a slight downgrade with Charlie Whitehurst calling the shots at quarterback, but remains a mid-range QB1 for the fantasy finals.
Dec 18 - 7:07 PM

Kendall Wright (hand) is active for Week 16 against the Jaguars.

As is Delanie Walker (knee). It's a nice boost for fill-in quarterback Charlie Whitehurst, and limits Nate Washington's WR3 appeal. Wright isn't wearing any protective gear on his hand, and can be fired up as a WR4. Inactive for the Titans are QB Zach Mettenberger, LT Taylor Lewan, DB Jemea Thomas, LB Zaviar Gooden, LB Dontay Moch, OT Terren Jones and DT Mike Martin.
Dec 18 - 7:01 PM

Jaguars declared DT Roy Miller, WR Tommy Streeter, CB Teddy Williams, CB Jeremy Harris, S Matt Daniels, OG Tyler Shatley and DE Andre Branch inactive for Week 16 against the Titans.

Miller just signed a four-year, $16.25 million extension on Tuesday, but is battling a sprained knee. As previously reported, Blake Bortles (foot) is ready to go as the Jags' quarterback on Thursday Night Football.
Dec 18 - 6:59 PM

Derek Carr (thumb, ankle) was upgraded to "full" on Thursday.

Carr's health is not a concern, but his play remains one. Carr is a bottom-five option for the fantasy finals.
Dec 18 - 6:13 PM

Michael Crabtree (knee) returned to 49ers practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

The WR4 is now on track to start Saturday's game against the Chargers. Crabtree's status will be updated on Friday.
Dec 18 - 6:11 PM

Arian Foster (hip) returned to Texans practice Thursday, getting in a limited session.

Foster's Week 16 availability isn't believed to be in doubt. Even against the Ravens' stingy run defense, he's a high-end RB1 for the fantasy finals.
Dec 18 - 6:01 PM

Ex-Bucs OC Jeff Tedford has agreed to become the new head coach of the CFL's BC Lions.

A coach in the college ranks from 1992-2012, Tedford's first foray into the NFL ended before it started thanks to a heart issue. He was released from his contract two weeks ago. Tedford actually has experience in Canada both as a coach and player. The longtime Cal head man likely hopes to eventually land back in the college ranks as a head coach.
