Redskins DBs coach Raheem Morris has verbally accepted a job as assistant head coach of the Falcons.

Seahawks DC Dan Quinn will be introduced as the new Falcons head coach following Sunday's Super Bowl. He'll bring along Morris, who played for Quinn at Hofstra in the late 1990s and has head-coaching experience with the Bucs from 2009-11. Morris will coordinate the pass defense while new DC Richard Smith will focus on the run defense.

Philly Mag's Sheil Kapadia says it makes a lot of sense for Jordan Matthews to replace Riley Cooper as an outside receiver in two-wide sets.

Cooper was arguably the worst starting wideout in the NFL this season, but the Eagles will bring him back in 2015 thanks to a silly $22.5M contract they gave him last year. That doesn't mean Cooper's role won't change. Matthews, who was strictly a slot receiver as a rookie, would be a massive upgrade out wide and can still move inside in 3- and 4-wide formations. At 6'3/212 with 4.46 speed and a 10-foot broad jump, he has the measureables to make the transition even if separation was a concern on college tape.

ESPN Chargers reporter Eric Williams confirms Dontrelle Inman is a good bet to stick on the 2015 roster.

Inman, a former CFL stud with plus size, really flashed over the last two games of the season (12-158-0). The Chargers have him at a meager $510,000 base salary for 2015, so he'll be back to compete for a role behind Keenan Allen and Malcom Floyd. Eddie Royal is a free agent.

Free agent Justin Forsett said he's heard the Ravens will keep some of the same run-game principles under new OC Marc Trestman.

Trestman takes over for Gary Kubiak, who implemented the highly successful Shanahan zone scheme. It resulted in a breakout year for 29-year-old Forsett, who put up 235-1,266-8 on the ground. It's a no-brainer for Trestman to leave the system in place while adding his own personal touch to the pass game -- a scheme that typically results in high-reception totals for his running backs. Forsett would be a nice fit and shouldn't be too expensive for the Ravens to bring back.

The Bucs are expected to release S Dashon Goldson this offseason.

The Bucs signed Goldson to a $41.25M contract that included $22M guaranteed in March of 2013. He was PFF's No. 81 safety among 86 qualifiers in 2013 and No. 86 among 87 qualifiers in 2014. Dumping the 31-year-old (in September) Goldson will save the Bucs half of his $8M 2015 cap number.

Following Sunday's Pro Bowl, Jimmy Graham said he still believes he will avoid offseason shoulder surgery.

Graham looked healthy during the Pro Bowl, catching three passes for 30 yards with two touchdowns. "It made a big difference, just having some rest," he said. We still don't know the exact specifics of Graham's injury, but we do know it really limited his catch radius and role during a disappointing 85-889-10 season. He'll get a lot more rest before next season, setting up a potential bounce-back campaign in 2015.

The Seahawks will be penalized 15 yards if Marshawn Lynch makes an obscene gesture during Sunday's Super Bowl.

Lynch has been fined a total of $31,050 for grabbing his crotch following touchdown runs this season. But he hasn't been penalized yet because the officials allegedly didn't see it. We can be certain that if he does it Sunday he'll get flagged as this story has gone national -- which is why coach Pete Carroll said he will speak to Beast Mode about the grab. According to offshore sportsbook Bovada, Lynch is an incredible -200 favorite to score a touchdown against the Patriots.

Bengals WLB Vontaze Burfict recently underwent microfracture surgery on his left knee.

Microfracture surgery is one of the most serious procedures an athlete can undergo, as it involves drilling tiny fractures into the bone in an effort to develop new cartilage. This knee can now be considered a chronic concern for Burfict, who underwent surgery on the same joint in late October and played in just five games all year. For what it's worth, Burfict's surgeon says it's still very possible his patient will be ready for 2015 training camp. Linebacker has become a big need area in Cincinnati with Burfict's health uncertain, and MLB Rey Maualuga and SLB Emmanuel Lamur's contracts both expiring.
