Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio reported the Dolphins will decide coach Joe Philbin's future on Monday.
Miami lost in a listless performance in London Sunday morning. The game was punctuated by a disastrous, nine-play first-and-goal series in the fourth quarter in which the Dolphins did not attempt a single run despite five opportunities inside the five-yard line. With a bye up next, now is the perfect time to move on from Philbin, but the Dolphins have nobody on the current staff deserving of a promotion. The Dolphins could decide to shake up the assistant coach group before moving on from Philbin. DC Kevin Coyle is reportedly very unpopular in the locker room.
Rams WLB Alec Ogletree will need surgery on his injured ankle.
The operation suggests Ogletree suffered a fracture, as did coach Jeff Fisher's comments following Sunday's win over Arizona. Fisher said Ogletree might be a candidate for injured reserve/designated for return. Ogletree is a big part of the Rams' run and pass defense as a highly athletic, long-armed coverage maven who also fills with speed against opposing rushing attacks.
Demaryius Thomas caught 9-of-12 targets for 93 yards in Denver's Week 4 win over the Vikings.
There was a scary moment in the third quarter where Thomas got his neck lit up by Harrison Smith, but it appears he escaped with a stinger. Peyton Manning's go-to receiver finds himself on pace for 132/1,444/4 through the season's first four games. Even with Manning's play slipping from its previously elite heights, Thomas is locked and loaded as a high-end WR1.
David Johnson rushed for 18 yards on three carries and caught 4-of-10 targets for 63 yards and one touchdown in the Cardinals' Week 4 loss to the Rams.
Tre Mason rushed for minus-one yards on two carries in the Rams' Week 4 win over the Cardinals.
It's safe to cut bait with Mason following Todd Gurley's 146-yard day against Arizona. Mason will merely be a change-of-pace option in the Rams' backfield.
Browns WR Taylor Gabriel secured 4-of-5 targets for 22 yards in Sunday's Week 4 loss to the Chargers.
Gabriel and Andrew Hawkins are sharing time in the Browns' receiver rotation behind Travis Benjamin and Brian Hartline. Gabriel helps Cleveland's offense in spots, but doesn't get enough usage for true fantasy value.
Richard Rodgers caught 5-of-6 targets for 45 yards and a touchdown in Green Bay's Week 4 win over the 49ers.
It was arguably Rodgers' best game as a pro, as he consistently found the cushions in the 49ers' defense. Rodgers got free in the back of the end zone for Aaron Rodgers' lone touchdown of the day in the first quarter, sliding to make a nice grab. The sophomore finds himself on pace for 52/440/8 through four games. The yardage course should increase with Andrew Quarless (MCL) on I.R./return. Rodgers will be a TE2 against the Rams in Week 5.
Andrew Hawkins secured 2-of-3 targets for 27 yards in the Browns' Week 4 loss to San Diego.
He's essentially sharing time with Taylor Gabriel behind Travis Benjamin and Brian Hartline. The Browns' four-way receiver rotation expanded to five Sunday when Dwayne Bowe was elevated to the game-day roster.
