Darren Sproles is averaging 6.3 YPC in 10 career games against the Giants.

It’s the highest average for a running back with at least 40 carries. The stats suggest the Eagles will continue to ride Sproles after he led the Week 2 backfield in touches. Sproles is Rotoworld’s No. 31-ranked back this week.

Dolphins coach Adam Gase doesn’t plan to scale back Jay Ajayi’s workload.

"You don’t want to take him out of his rhythm. It’s hard to take out the guy that’s really good," said Gase on Ajayi's every-down role. Ajayi had 30 touches and played on 94 percent of snaps last week. There’s rumblings Miami could back off his workload given his knee issues, but Ajayi’s missed practices look more maintenance related than a Week 3 concern. Ajayi could push for his fourth career 200-yard game in Sunday’s Jets matchup.

Redskins S Su'a Cravens (exempt/left squad list) wouldn't rule out returning next season.

Cravens told the Redskins in early September he planned to retire. He met with the team this week, but won't be back in 2017. Cravens has a lengthy injury history and could use a year off to get healthy. The Redskins are going with D.J. Swearinger, Montae Nicholson, and DeShazor Everett as their top three safeties.

Coach Bill O'Brien says DeAndre Hopkins is facing constant double coverage.

"Everyone in the league knows we're throwing to Hopkins." The Texans have targeted Hopkins a league-high 29 times, but he’s been held under 100 yards the first two weeks. Hopkins should see fewer double teams moving forward with Will Fuller close to returning. Even in a tough Week 3 matchup with the Patriots, Hopkins is a low-end WR2.

Texans coach Bill O'Brien has "no limitations" on playcalling wtih Deshaun Watson.

"Relative to what his skill set is and what he knows, I don’t think there’s any limitations." Watson wasn’t asked to do much in his first start, but made an impact in the run game — setting a franchise record with 67 yards on five carries. The Texans should have a conservative approach against the Patriots again this week, though Watson’s rushing gives him a high floor. Watson’s Week 3 matchup could get an upgrade if CB Stephon Gilmore (questionable, groin) is held out.

Terrance Williams (ankle) is questionable for Week 3 against the Cardinals.

Williams opened the week with two missed practices, but is trending up after getting in a limited session Saturday. He's clearly less than 100 perecnt and looks like a game-time decision. The Cowboys also listed Brice Butler (ankle) as questionable.

Jermaine Gresham (ribs) is questionable for Monday night's Week 3 game against the Cowboys.

Gresham was held out last week, but the Cardinals expect him to return after practicing on a limited basis. With John Brown sidelined and J.J. Nelson dealing with a hamstring issue, he could have an expanded pass-game role. Gresham has a streamable matchup against an injured Dallas secondary.

J.J. Nelson (hamstring) is listed as questionable for Week 3 against Dallas.

Nelson got in three straight limited practices despite an early week hamstring injury. He's on track to play, but can't be trusted with a Monday night matchup. Nelson owners need to have backup plans in place.
