Robert Woods (ankle) is not practicing Thursday.

Woods was limited on Wednesday. It's never good to have downgrades as the week moves along, so we'll consider him questionable for now. Mike Williams is behind Woods for reps in two-wide sets.

The Bucs are not expecting DT Gerald McCoy (hand) to play in Thursday night's game against the Falcons.

McCoy just broke his hand four days ago against the Rams. He'll be able to play through it with a club, but it's just too soon. Look for Da'Quan Bowers to start.

According NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Doug Martin (knee) is unlikely to play in Thursday night's game against the Falcons.

Martin will test out his knee pregame before the Bucs make his status official. But it's now crystal clear that Bobby Rainey is a borderline RB1 play against a Falcons defense that has already given up 284 yards and five touchdowns to opponent tailbacks. Reports already had the hot Rainey, growing into a coaching staff favorite, in line to start the game. He also started against the Falcons in Week 11 of last year, going for 167 total yards on 32 touches and scoring three touchdowns.

Coach Chip Kelly said ILB Mychal Kendricks (calf) is questionable for Sunday's game against the Redskins.

Kendricks won't practice Thursday as he tries to get his calf right. The Eagles have listed their rising star linebacker as day to day.

Joe Flacco (illness) returned to practice Thursday.

Flacco sat out on Wednesday due to a cold. He'll be a low-upside QB2 at Cleveland Sunday in a game with a meager 41.5 over/under.

Cardinals RB Stepfan Taylor has moved up to No. 2 on the depth chart.

Thanks to Jonathan Dwyer's deactivation, Taylor will now be the primary "big back" complement to Andre Ellington. It's not a high-upside position outside of a potential goal-line vulture and weak handcuff.

ProFootballTalk's Mike Florio considers it unlikely that Adrian Peterson will ever play for the Vikings again.

Peterson won't be allowed to play until after his child-abuse case is resolved. Florio is saying the case is likely to go to a trial, and therefore wouldn't be over until well after the season. However, Peterson has plenty of incentive to work out a plea deal as soon as possible if it means the NFL will reinstate him. As for 2015, Peterson is owed $12.75 million -- an untenable number for a 30-year-old running back.

ESPN 1500 Twin Cities says Jerick McKinnon "should definitely be more of a factor starting Sunday."

Anyone who has seen Matt Asiata stagger his way to a career 3.56 YPC knows this should be the case. The question is if the Vikings see it. Perhaps now that the coaches have a full week of preparation without Adrian Peterson, they'll install the freaky McKinnon as a major part of the gameplan. He's not startable yet in fantasy, but he's a must hold. If the Vikings want to move the football on the ground, McKinnon is their best bet.
