The Hawks have assigned Andrew White and Josh Magette to their G-League affiliate.

White scored 15 points in his NBA debut last Wednesday, but logged just one minute of action on Friday night. He will likely be shuttled back and fourth between the Hawks and the G-League over the final two months of the season.

The Suns assigned Davon Reed to their G-League affiliate.

Minimal fantasy impact here, as Reed has appeared in just seven games for the Suns this season. He is averaging 1.3 points and 0.6 assists over 8.0 minutes.

Coach JB Bickerstaff said that Tyreke Evans (right rib) would be re-evaluated prior to Saturday's game vs. Miami.

Evans injured the rib in the second half of the Grizzlies loss to the Cavs on Friday night. He was clutching his right side as he headed to the locker room and was ruled out a short time later. Considering the Grizz are in tank mode, they will likely err on the side of caution and wait until Evans is 100 percent healthy. We should have an update on his status shortly. If Evans is unable to play Saturday night, Andrew Harrison would likely be the primary beneficiary.

Coach Brad Stevens said Aron Baynes is dealing with a sore left elbow but has not been ruled out of Saturday's game vs. the Knicks.

Baynes started on Friday vs. the Pistons, but logged just three minutes before injuring his elbow. Daniel Theis was the primary beneficiary in Baynes' absence. Theis scored 19 points and grabbed seven boards in 21 minutes off the bench. We should have an update on Baynes Saturday afternoon.

Lonzo Ball (knee) returned to action Friday against the Mavericks, posting nine points in 17 minutes off the bench.

Ball was rusty with his shot, hitting 3-of-8 from the field, although his 3-of-6 from behind the 3-point line wasn't bad. He also chipped in with seven rebounds and six assists in his limited amount of work, making for a rather impressive overall stat line. He missed six weeks due to a sprained medial collateral ligament, and now he has Isaiah Thomas to contend with for minutes. Ball has already been ruled out for Saturday's game in Sacramento, and it's likely he won't play in back-to-back situations for some time, as the team has plenty of depth to allow him to rest.
Feb 24 - 2:31 AM

Ivica Zubac erupted for 14 points in 18 minutes off the bench in Friday's 124-102 win against Mavericks.

Zubac hit 6-of-7 from the floor while adding six rebounds, an assist and just one turnover. He dumped in a season-high 19 points in the game before the break against the Minnesota Timberwolves and he carried over the momentum despite the interruption from the All-Star break. Zubac still needs to do a little more work to make him a hot pickup in standard leagues, but his fantasy star is certainly rising.

Isaiah Thomas dropped 17 points in 25 minutes off the bench in Friday's 124-102 win against the visiting Mavericks.

Thomas went just 5-of-12 from the field, including 2-of-7 from behind the 3-point line, and he added 5-of-5 from the free-throw stripe. He also chipped in with four assists, two rebounds and two steals. It's going to take some time to jell with his new teammates, and he likely spent a lot of time doing so during the All-Star break. With Lonzo Ball (knee) back in action, there are plenty of mouths to feed and just so many minutes. IT remains more of a mid-round fantasy player as long as he is active, but look for his minutes and playing time to fluctuate based on the health and rest time of others. Ball is out Saturday in the second end of the back-to-back, so that's good news for Thomas.
Feb 24 - 2:24 AM

Josh Hart posted 12 points with 10 rebounds over 34 minutes in Friday's 124-102 victory against the visiting Mavericks.

Hart hit 5-of-13 from the field, including 1-of-5 from behind the 3-point line, and he also chipped in with two assists, a steal and just one turnover while finishing with a plus-24 rating. Hart entered the month of February with just two double-doubles, but he has managed four double-doubles in his eight games since flipping the calendar from January. With Lonzo Ball (knee) back in action, it will likely hurt Hart's value, but so far so good. Head coach Luke Walton certainly has a challenge as far as handling his rotations, however. We'll monitor the situation Saturday in Sacramento.
