The Rockets will send Corey Brewer and a first-round pick to the Lakers in exchange for Lou Williams.
The Lakers are sending Lou Williams to the Rockets in exchange for Corey Brewer and a first-round pick.
Courtney Lee (illness) and Joakim Noah (left hamstring) did not practice on Tuesday.
Noah missed the last five games before the break, so it's a concern that he's not 100 percent yet. The Knicks could be sellers at the trade deadline and Noah's outlook would take a hit if they started rebuilding, so he belongs on the wire in most leagues. Kyle O'Quinn and Willy Hernangomez benefit every time Noah sits, but Hernangomez has the better outlook.
Courtney Lee (illness) did not practice on Tuesday.
Lee still has another 48 hours before Thursday's game vs. the Cavaliers, but we should know more about his status after Wednesday's practice. If Lee is unable to play, Brandon Jennings and Justin Holiday will benefit the most. Through the first seven games of February, Lee averaged 10.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 0.9 steals and 1.6 triples.
Malik Beasley has been sent down to the D-League.
Beasley isn't a significant part of the rotation in Denver, so there's no fantasy spin here.
The Lakers are reportedly closing in on a multi-year deal with agent Rob Pelinka to install him as Los Angeles' next GM.
The agent-to-GM move worked out pretty well for the Warriors, so the Lakers will try and replicate that success by bringing in Pelinka, who is a well-respected agent around the league. He still needs to divest from his agency, so it could take a couple days before this thing becomes official.
Serge Ibaka is expected to practice in full with the Raptors on Wednesday.
Ibaka wasn't able to make his Toronto debut for the final game heading into the break, but all indications are that that will happen Friday vs. Boston. Ibaka's value should relatively steady in Toronto, but his arrival is bad news for the rest-of-season outlook for guys like Jonas Valanciunas and Lucas Noguiera.
Terrence Ross was a full participant during Tuesday's practice.
This was Ross' first full practice with his new team, so there's no reason why he wouldn't make his Orlando debut Thursday vs. Portland. He's certainly going to see more opportunity in Orlando, but he's also been consistently inconsistent throughout his career, and we're not expecting that to change based on the jersey.
