Wei-Yin Chen (elbow) struck out seven across five scoreless frames in a rehab start with High-A Jupiter on Sunday.

Chen threw 60 of 73 pitches for strikes. The left-hander has now allowed just one run while boasting an 11/1 K/BB ratio across his first 7 2/3 rehab innings. Previous reports had indicated that Chen could join the Marlins' rotation as soon as April 27, but it's unclear whether that date is still on the table.

Jose Bautista could be added to the Braves' roster sometime during their April 23-May 3 road trip.

Bautista reached base twice in his first game at High-A Florida and will play for them again Sunday before moving up to Triple-A Gwinnett on Monday. The 37-year-old signed a minor league contract with the Braves last week is getting reacquainted with third base. For what it's worth, manager Brian Snitker said the early reports of Bautista's work at the hot corner have been good. Bautista has hit only .216/.333/.402 over the last two seasons, but he's still worth a stash in deep leagues.

Shohei Ohtani's next start will come Tuesday in Houston.

After facing the A's in his first two outings of the season, Ohtani's slate has gotten more difficult with a home start against the Red Sox and road outing in Houston. The right-hander struggled versus Boston last week, allowing three runs over two innings before being lifted due to a blister. He obviously needs to be started by fantasy owners, but between the matchup and the potential of the blister flaring up, there's some risk.

Sunday's game between the Mets and Braves has been postponed due to inclement weather.

It will be made up as part of a split doubleheader on May 28. Scheduled starters Zack Wheeler and Mike Foltynewicz will be pushed back.
Apr 22 - 2:27 PM

The Dodgers will recall Walker Buehler to start Monday versus the Marlins.

The Dodgers needed a fill-in for Rich Hill (finger). The feeling is that Hill should be ready to go later this week, so it will probably only be a spot start for Buehler in all likelihood. Still, he's a worthy streamer in a nice matchup. The top prospect has posted a 2.08 ERA and 16/4 K/BB ratio over 13 innings this season for Triple-A Oklahoma City. Buehler will be making his first major league start after he was up for eight relief appearances last year.
Apr 22 - 2:17 PM

Angels optioned RHP Eduardo Paredes from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Paredes' latest major league stint lasted one day and he didn't make an appearance. He's clearing out to make room for Sunday's starter, Jaime Barria.
Apr 22 - 2:00 PM

Angels recalled RHP Jaime Barria from Triple-A Salt Lake.

Barria will start Sunday against the Giants. The 21-year-old pitched well in a spot start earlier this month and could have a shot to remain in the rotation for a while with the Angels' injuries.
Apr 22 - 1:58 PM

Buster Posey (back) is back in the Giants' lineup Sunday.

Posey was a late scratch Saturday due to back tightness, but he's feeling well enough to give it a go in this one. He's catching and batting cleanup versus Jaime Barria and the Angels.
