Doug Martin (knee) participated in Bucs practice Monday.

Per beat writer Greg Auman, Martin "looked like he was practicing without limitations." Bobby Rainey has lost three fumbles through three games, and struggled outside of his Week 2 blowup against St. Louis. Martin still has a chance to retake Tampa Bay's backfield. The Bucs face Pittsburgh in Week 4.

The Charlotte Observer reports Mike Tolbert could miss "more than a month" with a hairline fracture in his left leg.

He also has a bone bruise. The injuries put UDFA Darrin Reaves on the fantasy radar with Jonathan Stewart also in danger of missing multiple weeks, and DeAngelo Williams short of 100 percent. Tolbert can be safely dropped in any leagues where he was owned. He might eventually become an I.R. candidate.

Redskins placed LCB DeAngelo Hall on injured reserve with a torn Achilles' tendon, ending his season.

Hall is under contract through 2017. It seems like Hall has been in the league forever, but he's still only 31 years old (in November) and will have a chance to return to the Redskins at his 2015 base salary of $4 million. The Skins will move forward with David Amerson and E.J. Biggers at corner.

Redskins placed S Duke Ihenacho on injured reserve with a fractured heel, ending his season.

Ihenacho was the Redskins' No. 3 safety behind Brandon Meriweather and Ryan Clark. He also contributed on special teams for Washington.

Giants MLB Jon Beason (toe) is considered a "long shot" to play in Thursday night's game against the Redskins.

Beason might be able to practice on a limited basis this week, but the quick turnaround isn't helping his chances after Beason's Week 2 aggravation of his offseason toe injury. Look for Jameel McClain to start against the Skins.

Eric Ebron (23) played fewer snaps than both Brandon Pettigrew (49) and Joseph Fauria (25) in the Lions' Week 3 win over Green Bay.

The Detroit Free Press describes Ebron as a "bit player" in first-year OC Joe Lombardi's offense. This is probably a good time to buy 21-year-old Ebron in Dynasty leagues. He's not even a viable TE2 in re-draft formats, however.
Sep 22 - 3:44 PM

Reggie Bush played 37 snaps to Joique Bell's 36 in the Lions' Week 3 win over the Packers.

Bell led the tandem in touches in each of Detroit's first two games. Bell still finished with 15 carries, including six in clock-killing mode, and remains the Lions' primary between-the-tackles runner. Bush is OC Joe Lombardi's space back. Detroit takes on the Jets in Week 4, with Bush as the superior fantasy bet because of his role. New York is very stout in the front seven.

Carson Palmer (shoulder) is "improving," and could throw "this week or next."

That's all good and well, but Palmer's outlook remains rather vague. The Cardinals are on bye this week, giving Palmer seven extra days to heal up for Week 5's showdown with the Broncos. He should be considered week to week, and a tenuous hold in 12-team leagues as byes start creeping in.
