Nikola Vucevic is listed as questionable for Saturday against the Hawks due of a sore right Achilles tendon.

Feb 25 - 4:19 PM

Quincy Acy (ankle) will not play against the Warriors on Saturday .

The Nets will continue to use Rondae Hollis-Jefferson at the four while Trevor Booker backs him up. This also means Justin Hamilton will be in the rotation again.
Feb 25 - 4:14 PM

Caris LeVert (illness) will not play against the Warriors on Saturday.

He probably wasn't going to play anyway on the second half of a back-to-back set. With LeVert out, there should be more minutes for Sean Kilpatrick and Joe Harris for this game. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson did not play any small forward on Friday, but maybe that changes. The Nets sitting LeVert out will be very annoying in fantasy.
Feb 25 - 4:11 PM

Al-Farouq Aminu (left knee) is probable for Sunday against the Raptors.

He looks like he's going to be back after missing his last two games. The Blazers only had Noah Vonleh as their only other power forward, so they had to shift Meyers Leonard and Moe Harkless out of position in the last two games. If healthy, Aminu should be looking at close to 30 minutes and would be worth a look in standard leagues.

Coach Luke Walton said Jordan Clarkson needs to work on his strength to be a better defender.

"We ask him to guard multiple positions," Walton said about Clarkson's defense. "Sometimes the guy he is guarding is bigger. But as far as his explosiveness and aggression and competitive level, I think he’ll be a good defender the older he gets and stronger he gets." Clarkson did a fine job on Russell Westbrook, who made just 4-of-18 from the field on Friday. Clarkson should trend up now that Lou Williams is gone, so give him a look to see if he can get it going again.

The Lakers and Jose Calderon are exploring their buyout options, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.

The Lakers have no reason to play Calderon as they look to play their younger guys. According to the report, the Warriors and Rockets look to be the favors to sign him assuming the buyout goes through. The Lakers will be leaning more on D'Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and Brandon Ingram.
Feb 25 - 2:53 PM

Victor Oladipo (back) only went through a light practice on Saturday.

Coach Billy Donovan said he wouldn't be able to play in a game today, which means he's questionable at best for Sunday against the Pelicans. Alex Abrines was big time on Friday with a career-high 19 points in 29 minutes, so he stands to benefit the most again. Plus, Andre Roberson slid over to the two more, which opened up some run for Doug McDermott. Oladipo owners should just sit tight.
Feb 25 - 2:40 PM

Al Jefferson (dental pain) is listed as questionable Saturday vs. Miami.

Jefferson missed Friday night's game due to the same issue. Surprisingly, it was Rakeem Christmas, not Kevin Seraphin, who soaked up Jefferson's minutes off the Pacers bench. Christmas scored four points, grabbed five rebounds and blocked a shot in 14 minutes against the Grizzlies on Friday. It will be interesting to see if Christmas gets the call again on Saturday if Big Al is unable to suit up.
