Dallas CB Morris Claiborne leads NFL cornerbacks in lowest completion percentage when targeted.
In 24 targets, Claiborne has allowed nine catches for 90 yards and a 37.5 completion percentage from opposing quarterbacks. While Claiborne has held his own, the Dallas pass defense still ranks 23rd among NFL defenses through three weeks and has given up consecutive 300+ passing yard performances. The Cowboys D/ST will be a middling Week 4 fantasy option on the road at San Francisco.
Panthers waived WR Brenton Bersin.
Bersin looked poised for a big role coming out of the preseason, but he played just five snaps the first three weeks. The Panthers likely needed his roster spot to sign some help for the offensive line.
Giants CB Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (groin) is questionable for Monday night against the Vikings.
Rodgers-Cromartie is at best a game-time decision, and the Giants will be without fellow CB Eli Apple (hamstring, doubtful) as well as safeties Nat Berhe (concussion, out) and Darian Thompson (foot, out). Stefon Diggs and Kyle Rudolph should find some success Monday night.
Rashad Jennings (thumb) is listed as questionable for Monday night against the Vikings.
Coach Ben McAdoo said Jennings will be a "game-day" decision after Friday's practice, so this designation is not a surprise. Jennings is likely more on doubtful side of questionable, but his status will not be known for certain before Monday. That makes both Jennings and Orleans Darkwa tough to trust, especially considering the matchup.
Vikings LG Alex Boone (hip) practiced again on Saturday.
Boone did not finish Week 3 because of a hip injury, but he has now practiced two days in a row. He will likely be listed as limited again, but he is on track to play Monday night.
Delanie Walker (hamstring, questionable) said he has an "opportunity to play" this week.
Coach Mike Mularkey said Walker's status will be determined by a pre-game workout, but it sounds like he is trending in the right direction. Jace Amaro would be the primary pass-catching threat at tight end if Walker sits, but he is not worth streaming against the Texans.
Jets WR Robby Anderson is expected to serve as the No. 3 receiver in Eric Decker's (shoulder) absence.
An undrafted rookie out of Temple, Anderson is an explosive athlete, but he was considered a developmental prospect in the pre-draft process. Even if he is the "No. 3," the Jets will likely lean heavily on Brandon Marshall and Quincy Enunwa with Decker out. Anderson is just a Dynasty asset right now.
Browns RG Alvin Bailey is not expected to start this week.
Bailey was arrested for OVI among other things early Monday morning. Bailey started at right guard with John Greco filling in at center last week. Greco is expected to move back to guard with newly-signed Austin Reiter taking over at center.
