A.J. Pollock - OF - Diamondbacks

A.J. Pollock went 3-for-4 with an RBI from the leadoff spot in Friday's win.

Pollock was probably looking at a demotion right about now if Adam Eaton's rehab went as hoped. As is, he'll remain in the majors and continue to start against lefties for a few more weeks. He's 8-for-14 the last five days after breaking out of a 1-for-19 slump.

Carlos Quentin - OF - Padres

Carlos Quentin went 3-for-3 with two doubles and a walk in his return to the starting lineup on Friday.

Quentin's first multihit game since April 30 has him back over the Mendoza Line at .203 for the first time in three weeks. Now all he needs is a multi-RBI game; he has just one this season.

Jeff Keppinger - 2B - White Sox

Jeff Keppinger delivered a walk-off RBI single in a 4-3 win over the Marlins in 11 innings on Friday.

Keppinger sneaked it through the left side of the infield with the bases loaded to win it. The veteran infielder went 2-for-5 with two RBI on the night and is hitting .343 (11-for-32) over his last nine games. The recent hot streak has only pulled his batting average up to .210 for the year, but we expect it to continue to rise in the days ahead.

John Danks - S - White Sox

John Danks was solid in his first start back from shoulder surgery Friday, giving up three runs in six-plus innings in a no-decision against the Marlins.

He reached the 90s a couple of times with his fastball, but mostly sat in the high 80s. Danks was pulled after giving up a leadoff double to Marcell Ozuna in the top of the seventh inning. Ozuna eventually came around to score on a sacrifice fly, which cost Danks a chance at the victory. Still, it was an encouraging outing for the southpaw, as he gave up just four hits and walked nine while striking out five. He has another favorable matchup next week against the Cubs, but most mixed league owners can afford to wait and see for now.

Tom Koehler - R - Marlins

Tom Koehler yielded three runs in six innings Friday in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Koehler scattered six hits while striking out three and walking one. The 26-year-old right-hander has allowed three runs or fewer in all three of his starts since joining the rotation earlier this month. He isn't going to get many wins with this lineup, but give him a try in NL-only formats.

Derek Dietrich - 2B - Marlins

Derek Dietrich connected for a two-run homer in Friday's extra-inning loss to the White Sox.

It was his only hit in five at-bats. Dietrich has held his own in his first taste of the majors, hitting .250 (12-for-48) with two homers, two doubles, six RBI, and a .724 OPS through 13 games. It's unclear whether he'll stick around once Donovan Solano returns from the disabled list, but he should continue to be useful in NL-only leagues for the time being.

Jeremy Hefner - S - Mets

Friday's game between the Braves and Mets was suspended due to rain.

The Mets tied the score at 5-5 in the bottom of the eighth inning before there was a rain delay going into the top of the ninth. Play will resume Saturday at 6:10 p.m. ET after which the second game of the series will be played.

Jim Henderson - R - Brewers

Jim Henderson is dealing with a right hamstring injury.

No word yet on the extent of the injury, or how much time he could be sidelined, but Henderson didn't sound very encouraged when talking with reporters after the game. He said that the injury occurred while attempting to field a ground ball off the bat of Russell Martin. Brewers manager Ron Roenicke said that if Henderson were to miss time, he would employ a closer-by-committee including Francisco Rodriguez, John Axford and Michael Gonzalez.
