Stephen Curry scored 27 points with five rebounds, five assists, three steals and five 3-pointers during a 112-95 win over the Nets on Saturday.
With Kevin Durant (hand) out for the first time all season, Klay Thompson also scored 24 points to be the only two Warriors to hit double-digit scoring in this win. The Warriors became the first team this season to clinch a playoff spot and sit at 49-9 on the year. Curry also had a four-point play for two straight games to get him to five of those on the season. He had a terrible finish to his first half, but he's started hot with this gem and a 35-point Thursday. The Warriors start their five-game East Coast trip on Tuesday and will be on the road until Mar. 8 when Boston comes to the Bay Area. Curry is sitting pretty as a top-five player in fantasy this season.
Draymond Green made 1-of-10 from the field for five points with eight rebounds, two assists, one block, one steal and one 3-pointer in 23 minutes against the Nets on Saturday.
He's actually in a brutal offensive slump over his last four, making just 18.2 percent from the field. Green has made just 2-of-15 beyond three feet, but he did make 9-of-10 from the line. He's not on your fantasy team for scoring anyway, so his fantasy owners shouldn't sweat the slump too much. Although, his playing time is also down to just 21.3 minutes per game. Green has been a top-15 player on the season for total value in standard leagues, but his owners can probably expect a slight drop with the Warriors clinching a postseason spot already.
The Warriors are expected to sign Jose Calderon after his buyout from the Lakers.
The Warriors released Briante Weber today, so clearly they feel they have a great shot at Calderon. The 35-year-old guard won't see much playing time unless Stephen Curry is out of the lineup.
Andre Iguodala dished out a season-high nine assists against the Nets on Saturday, adding five points, two rebounds, two steals, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 26 minutes.
He assisted seven different players in this game with some fancy passing all night. Not having Kevin Durant (hand) helped Iguodala, but his versatility makes him a beneficiary when basically any starter is out of the lineup. He's actually been super sneaky as a sixth-round guy in his last 15 games, so feel free to keep riding him. Although, there will be rest next month.
