The Ravens are calling Owen Daniels (knee) a "game-time decision" for Week 9 against the Steelers.
Daniels had his knee scoped last Friday. He may be active for Sunday's critical division game, but it's hard to imagine him playing a full complement of snaps. Although Crockett Gillmore didn't light up the box score in last week's start, he did make several impact blocks and caught both of his targets.
Jordan Cameron (concussion) has been ruled out for Week 9.
He's tentatively expected to miss two weeks. Considering Cameron's lackluster to-date production, likelihood of missing the next two games where six teams are on bye in each, and Josh Gordon's impending return to swipe targets, fantasy owners can consider dropping Cameron in 12- and 14-team leagues.
Redskins CB Bashaud Breeland hurt his knee in Friday's practice and is questionable for Week 9 against the Vikings.
He'll go for an MRI. Breeland is coming off his best game of his rookie season, when he held Dez Bryant and Terrance Williams to four catches for 52 scoreless yards on eight targets. If Breeland is forced to miss Week 9, Tracy Porter and E.J. Biggers would be the Nos. 2 and 3 corners behind David Amerson.
Doug Martin (ankle) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
Barring a surprise, Bobby Rainey will get the start at running back against the Browns. Depending on how the Bucs choose to sprinkle Mike James and/or Charles Sims in, Rainey could handle 20-plus touches. If so, he'd be a high-upside RB2 against a Cleveland defense that is yielding the ninth-most fantasy points to running backs. Rainey has easily been Tampa's best runner in 2014.
Darren Sproles (knee) is probable for Week 9 against the Texans.
He'll return from his sprained MCL as Rotoworld's No. 34 running back this week.
Tony Romo (back) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
Coach Jason Garrett continues to say Romo will be a literal game-time decision. The Cowboys will see how Romo feels in pregame warm-ups and make a call then. It's all about pain tolerance for Romo, who will wear extra padding if he plays.
Owen Daniels (knee) returned to practice Friday.
Daniels was limited Wednesday before being downgraded to DNP on Thursday. Even if he plays, we're not recommending Daniels for fantasy lineups.
Jordan Cameron (concussion) remained sidelined at Friday's practice.
Cameron isn't going to play this week. It'll be Jim Dray and Gary Barnidge for the Browns. Cameron is tentatively expected to miss Weeks 9 and 10.
