Seahawks DE/OLB O'Brian Schofield's roster spot is "written in permanent ink."
Schofield recorded his second sack of the preseason and hit the quarterback three time in the Seahawks' third preseason game Friday night. He has outplayed Benson Mayowa this preseason, and has likely carved out a role as a rotational lineman.
Marcedes Lewis had two catches for 45 yards in Friday night's preseason game.
He was targeted twice in the passing game. Lewis is a critical part of the Jaguars' offense as a blocker, and should provide Chad Henne with a red-zone option. He has a six catches for 100 yards in three preseason games. Lewis should go undrafted in fantasy leagues.
Zach Miller caught one pass for seven yards in Friday night's preseason game against the Bears.
He secured his lone target. Primarily a blocker in Seattle's offense, Miller has two receptions this preseason and is nowhere near the fantasy radar.
Bears RB Shaun Draughn rushed four times for four yards in Friday night's third preseason game at Seattle.
Draughn operated as Chicago's No. 2 back in each of the first two exhibition weeks, but the Bears gave rookie Ka'Deem Carey the backup nod in this one. It's abundantly obvious Chicago wants Carey to grab the reigns there, and Draughn did nothing to help himself against the Seahawks' backup defenders. On the preseason, Draughn has eight carries for 39 yards, and three catches for 22 yards.
First-round TE Eric Ebron had two catches for 27 yards in Friday night's preseason game.
Ebron rotated first-team reps with Brandon Pettigrew and played in two tight-end packages. His longest play was a 15-yard catch-and-run on a swing pass out of the backfield. Ebron made a critical block on Reggie Bush's 86-yard touchdown run, which should help get him on the field more. His blocking has been an issue in camp. Ebron has five catches for 65 yards through three preseason games.
Cecil Shorts was held without a catch in his preseason debut.
Shorts rotated with Allen Hurns in two-wide sets and didn't appear fully healthy. He finished with two targets in the passing game. Shorts offers WR3 value in the eleventh round of fantasy drafts, but comes with red flag injury risks.
Marqise Lee had three catches for 10 yards in the Friday night's preseason game.
Lee started and got the majority of work in two-wide sets. It was a step back after he secured all four of his targets last week, including a touchdown. Lee was manhandled on his blocking assignments and took a 15-yard unsportsmanlike conduct penalty in the second quarter. He has a 7/37/1 line in two preseason starts. Lee is set up to lead the Jaguars in receiving this year, but is going to struggle with consistency. He's a WR4/5 flier.
Santonio Holmes caught 1-of-2 targets for seven yards in the Bears' third preseason game Friday night at Seattle.
Josh Morgan opened the game as Chicago's No. 3 receiver, but Holmes mixed in with the first-team offense in the second quarter. He primarily ran with the twos, however, and made his first catch in a Bears uniform on a third-quarter slant for a gain of seven. Holmes is unlikely to make much fantasy noise in Chicago, but he definitely has a chance to help the Bears on the field.
