Nelson Cruz delivered a game-winning single in the 10th inning of Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Cruz hasn't posted an extra-base hit over the past five outings, but he still has six homers and 16 RBI across 17 games in the month of July. The All-Star remains productive, producing a slash line of .288/.364/.593 through 333 at-bats.

Ben Gamel finished 2-for-5 with a double, a solo home run and two runs scored in Saturday's game against the Yankees.

Gamel pushed his hitting streak to nine games. He is hitting .308 (12-for-39) with five runs scored, two homers and four RBI during the solid run. It's rare, but his average has actually slipped two points since his hitting streak started right after the All-Star break.
Jul 23 - 6:00 AM

Edwin Diaz allowed an earned run, a hit and a walk while blowing a save in the ninth inning on Saturday against the Yankees.

Diaz threw 15 of his 23 pitches for strikes, but he blew his fourth save chance of the season. Despite the shaky appearance he is not close to being on thin ice for his closer's job in Seattle.
Jul 23 - 5:56 AM

Ariel Miranda allowed two earned runs, five hits and a walk with four strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision Saturday against the Yankees.

Miranda has made three appearances in the month of July, posting a 7.31 ERA across 16 innings with no decisions. He'll look to keep things trending in the right direction in his next scheduled outing Friday against the Mets.
Jul 23 - 5:54 AM

Aaron Judge belted a solo home run in Saturday's game in Seattle, hitting homers in consecutive road games for the first time this season.

Judge's 32 homers are the most in the majors by a rookie since White Sox 1B Jose Abreu smacked 36 homers during the 2014 season. At this rate Judge is going to smash that number. He'll look to make it three games in a row with a homer when he squares off against Yovani Gallardo on Sunday.
Jul 23 - 5:51 AM

Masahiro Tanaka allowed four earned runs, seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts across six innings in a no-decision in Seattle on Saturday.

Tanaka looked to be turning a corner in June, posting his best ERA of the season at 3.94 in five starts during the month. However, he is back to his early-season struggles, going 1-2 with a 4.68 ERA and five homers allowed across 25 innings over four starts in July. He'll look to get back in the win column Friday against the Rays at home.
Jul 23 - 5:46 AM

Yasiel Puig finished 2-for-3 with a walk, an RBI and a stolen base in Saturday's win against Atlanta.

It was a much-needed multi-hit game since the Cuban outfielder entered with just two hits over his past 18 at-bats (.111). Puig has also tied a career best with 11 steals with plenty of time to go. He isn't quite up to his rookie season levels in the average department (.319), but he is showed plenty of power and striking out less.
Jul 23 - 5:39 AM

Chris Taylor finished 2-for-2 with a solo home run and three RBI in Saturday's home victory against Atlanta.

Taylor came on as part of a double switch in the seventh inning despite the fact he has been tearing the cover off the ball. Trayce Thompson started and struggled again, so don't look for Taylor's playing time to be curtailed much. Taylor is now hitting .429 (27-for-63) with six doubles, three triples, three homers and 10 RBI across 16 games with a 1.208 OPS.
