Falcons coach Dan Quinn said Tevin Coleman remains in the concussion protocol.

Leonard Fournette (quad) did not practice Thursday.

Fournette also sat out Wednesday's practice, raising real concerns about his availability for Sunday against the Texans. His participation during Friday's session should tell the story. Chris Ivory and T.J. Yeldon will split reps if Fournette cannot play.

Giants placed RT Justin Pugh (back) on injured reserve.

Pugh went for a second opinion this week which obviously recommended him shutting things down for the rest of the season. The good news is he will not need surgery, a welcome development as he heads into free agency. As long as he is healthy, Pugh should have a hot market as a quality and versatile lineman.

Interim GM Kevin Abrams said he would like to see Davis Webb get some playing time.

"But you can only play one quarterback at a time," Abrams added before saying interim coach Steve Spagnuolo will make the final decision. It makes perfect sense for the Giants to get Webb some snaps at the end of a lost season, but it might not be a good move for a coach trying to win games and help his resume. For now, Eli Manning will remain under center.
Dec 14 - 12:08 PM

Tyrod Taylor (knee) is practicing Thursday.

It is not a surprise after he got in a full session Wednesday. Barring any setbacks, he will be ready to face the Dolphins. He will be a solid QB2 in that matchup.

Nathan Peterman (concussion) is practicing Thursday.

He also got in limited work Wednesday. It looks like Peterman is on track to be cleared before Sunday, but Tyrod Taylor is also ready to return, sending Peterman back to the bench.
Dec 14 - 11:42 AM

Kelvin Benjamin (knee) is practicing Thursday.

Benjamin was limited on Wednesday and likely will be again today, but he still looks on track to play against the Dolphins. If he does, he will be an upside WR4.
Dec 14 - 11:39 AM

Elijah McGuire (ankle) did not practice Thursday.

McGuire's injury is reportedly minor, but he has now missed the first two practices of the week and looks unlikely to play against the Saints. Matt Forte and Bilal Powell will have safer workloads if McGuire sits, but this is a situation to avoid.
