NFL suspended RB Marshawn Lynch one game for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The suspension comes after Lynch was ejected for shoving a referee in Thursday's night game. Lynch will miss Week 8 if he doesn't appeal. It's the latest in what's been a rough month for Lynch. The Raiders should go with a committee with Jalen Richard and DeAndre Washington against Buffalo.

Ravens TE Maxx Williams (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 7.

He didn't practice all week. With Williams sidelined and Baltimore's top-two receivers less than 100 percent, Ben Watson (questionable, knee) should see an expanded role.

Panthers C Ryan Kalil (neck) is questionable for Week 7 against Chicago.

Kalil expects to return from his five-game absence. He should play after getting in a full practice Friday. Kalil's presence is an upgrade to Carolina's inside running game.

Vikings LT Riley Reiff (ankle) is questionable for Week 7 against the Ravens.

Reiff was added to the report as limited on Friday, suggesting the injury happened during practice. Late-week additions are always cause for concern, although it is possible the Vikings are just being cautious. Rashod Hill would likely get the start if Reiff is forced to sit.

ESPN's Rob Demovsky reports the Packers are "holding out hope" Aaron Rodgers (collarbone, IR) can return Week 15 against the Panthers.

Rodgers is out for at least the next eight games, but the Packers think there's a chance he'll be back when first eligible. It's an aggressive timetable that sounds like a best-case scenario. Rodgers missed only seven games with a 2013 collarbone fracture. The Packers will need to stay in playoff contention for Rodgers to return this year.

The Las Vegas Review-Journal reports the NFL is "considering all options" for discipline with Marshawn Lynch.

Lynch was ejected for leaving the sidelines and shoving a referee on Thursday night. He's facing fines in excess of $60,000 and could potentially miss Week 8 against Buffalo. There should be a decision on Lynch's status early next week. DeAndre Washington and Jalen Richard would form a committee if Lynch is forced to sit.

Jaguars coach Doug Marrone said Dede Westbrook (core muscle surgery, IR) is "on track" to return in Week 9.

Westbrook was cleared to catch passes last week and has been running on the side at practice. Barring setbacks, he should be back when first eligible Week 9 against the Bengals. Westbrook is expected to have an immediate role, and looks likely to make a second-half impact. With Jacksonville not getting much from Allen Hurns and Marqise Lee, Westbrook could see a heavy target share when he returns.

Packers placed Aaron Rodgers (broken collarbone) on injured reserve.

He'll miss at least the next eight weeks. The Packers have yet to rule Rodgers out for the season, so there's a chance he could return in Week 15. Brett Hundley will take over as the starter, but is a downgrade to the entire pass offense. The Packers should become a more run heavy team with Rodgers sidelined.
