Andrew McCutchen finished 2-for-3 with a double, home run and three RBI in Saturday's win against the Mets.

The three RBI tied a season best for McCutchen, who entered with just one RBI over his past eight outings. It has been a trying season for Cutch, who is still hitting just .212 with eight doubles, a triple, seven homers and 23 RBI over 179 at-bats. He'll look to keep it going against Matt Harvey and the Mets in Sunday's series finale.

Gerrit Cole allowed four earned runs, 10 hits and a walk across five innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday.

Cole was looking very ace-like with eight straight quality starts from April 9-May 17, but he has been hit hard for nine earned runs, 20 hits and five homers over 9 2/3 innings across his past two outings. He'll look to get back on track next Friday in a rematch with the Mets at Citi Field.

Jay Bruce - OF - Mets

Jay Bruce finished 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss at Pittsburgh.

Bruce appears to be over the back issue which forced him out of the lineup mid-week. He has hit safely in five straight games, his longest streak since a season-high seven-game run from April 8-14. Bruce has driven in six runs over the past six games and continues to produce despite a rough May average.
May 28 - 1:27 AM

Lucas Duda went 2-for-4 with a double and a solo home run in Saturday's game at Pittsburgh.

Duda has come alive with three straight multi-hit games, and four over his past five outings, raising his average from .206 to .267 just since May 21. He has four doubles, two homers and eight RBI over the past five outings, too, making up for lost time.
May 28 - 1:23 AM

Travis d'Arnaud finished 3-for-5 with a double, home run and two RBI in Saturday's extra-innings loss at Pittsburgh.

It wasn't all great for d'Arnaud as he struck out twice. The hits were d'Arnaud's first since coming off the 10-day disabled list. It appears his wrist is back to 100 percent and he can be trusted again in NL-only fantasy formats.
May 28 - 1:21 AM

Addison Reed allowed a run and three hits in the ninth inning for a blown save Saturday at Pittsburgh.

The Pirates rallied to force extra innings and the Mets succumbed in the 10th inning. Reed has converted six of his eight save chances, not a terribly impressive percentage. He also has an unsightly 3.51 ERA through 25 2/3 innings. Despite the most recent blown save he is unlikely to be skating on thin ice, although he did ruin manager Terry Collins' 68th birthday.
May 28 - 1:17 AM

Jon Lester will face Clayton Kershaw in Sunday's series finale at L.A. Dodgers.

Lester has posted a 0.86 ERA over his past three regular-season starts against Dodger Blue, while Kershaw has struck out 68 Cubs hitters over his past 53 2/3 innings in eight starts while holding them to a .218 average. It sounds like quite the pitching duel is on tap at Chavez Ravine on Sunday night.
