Bucs waived S Major Wright.

Aug 30 - 2:10 PM

Ravens waived OLB John Simon.

The No. 129 overall pick, Simon was active for just seven games as a rookie, playing all of three snaps on defense. At 6-foot-1, 252 pounds, he's an NFL tweener. He'll search for practice-squad work.
Aug 30 - 2:05 PM

Lions waived CB Chris Greenwood.

A 2012 fifth-round pick, Greenwood has appeared in just three NFL games. He's battled abdominal and groin injuries over the last two years.
Aug 30 - 2:02 PM

Bengals waived DT Devon Still.

A 2012 second-rounder, Still's two seasons in Cincinnati were marked by injury and ineffectiveness. Still generated first-round hype before falling all the way to No. 53. His draft pedigree should earn him a second look, but there's been nothing to suggest he will be an effective NFLer.
Aug 30 - 2:02 PM

Titans released LB Moise Fokou.

Fokou started 12 games for the Titans a year ago, but was one of the worst inside linebackers in the NFL. It's a trouble area for the Titans. Fokou lost a backup spot to Patrick Bailey.
Aug 30 - 1:53 PM

Browns waived CB Leon McFadden.

The No. 68 overall pick of the 2013 draft, McFadden was active for all 16 games as a rookie, but struggled to get on the field on defense. When he did, he struggled mightily across 247 snaps. The San Diego State product is under-sized at 5-foot-10, 190 pounds.
Aug 30 - 1:53 PM

Lions release TE Michael Egnew.

Egnew lasted five days on the Lions' roster. Egnew has been a massive disappointment since the Dolphins made him the No. 78 overall pick of the 2012 draft. Despite the struggles, his pedigree will likely land him another chance.
