Ahmad Bradshaw rushed for 70 yards on 13 carries and caught five passes for 26 yards and two touchdowns in Monday night's Week 2 loss to the Colts.

Bradshaw outplayed Trent Richardson for the second consecutive game to open the season. Bradshaw took his first carry of the game 29 yards up the left side. It looked like he was shot out of a cannon. Bradshaw legitimately looks like he's been reborn, and he's playing in all red-zone and passing situations, as evidenced by his one-yard and seven-yard scores. He's clearly the superior talent in the Colts' backfield, but we tend to think the Indianapolis coaching staff is too dumb to realize it. That, or they'll wake up when it's too late.

LeSean McCoy rushed for 79 yards and one touchdown on 20 carries in the Eagles' Week 2 win over the Colts on Monday night, adding four catches for an additional 23 yards.

McCoy's 102 totals yards go largely unnoticed because of Darren Sproles' 178 yards and one score on 11 touches. Still, McCoy had a fine night against a pitiful defense. He didn't break off many big gainers, but McCoy was steady and showed off his video game-like moves on a couple occasions. He pounded his touchdown in from one yard away after Riley Cooper drew a DPI call in the end zone. Sproles' heavier load than expected is a bit of a buzzkill for McCoy owners, but Shady is still producing fine numbers and getting his touches. The Redskins are up next for the Eagles. McCoy will be a top-three option at running back.

Trent Richardson rushed for 79 yards on 21 carries in the Colts' Week 2 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.

He added a 16-yard reception. It was one of Richardson's best games since the trade, though it's nothing to write home about. Richardson had a few scampers of 10-plus yards, but he also ran up the backs of his blockers at times and fumbled twice. One fumble came in the red zone that Indy fortunately recovered, but the other was at his own 20-yard line. It set up Darren Sproles' 19-yard touchdown run for the Eagles and tied the game at 20-20. Meanwhile, Ahmad Bradshaw looks reborn as a Colt. We doubt the Colts' coaching staff realizes it.

Nick Foles completed 21-of-37 passes for 331 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in the Eagles' Monday night, Week 2 win over the Colts.

The stat line is deceiving. Foles couldn't complete anything downfield outside of a couple shots to Zach Ertz. Instead, he simply dumped balls off to Darren Sproles and LeSean McCoy and let them do all the dirty work. Foles just isn't seeing the field like he did in 2013. He'd be a bigger story if the Eagles hadn't been able to overcome 14-point halftime deficits in back-to-back weeks. He missed a wide-open Jeremy Maclin in the end zone Monday, and threw another pass well behind Ertz. Foles will remain on the QB1 map next week vs. Washington.
Sep 15 - 11:48 PM

Andrew Luck completed 20-of-34 passes for 172 yards, three touchdowns, and one interception in the Colts' 30-27, Week 2 loss to the Eagles on Monday night.

Luck saved his night with the three touchdowns, but he could have easily tossed three or four more interceptions. And the interception he did throw shouldn't have been one, as T.Y. Hilton was completely mugged on the play. The 5.1 YPA average is nearly two yards off his career mark. OC Pep Hamilton continues to be the problem in Indy. He consistently dialed up runs to Trent Richardson, who was having an okay night, but not a good enough one to warrant 22 touches. When Luck was asked to throw, it was short passes. The Colts travel to Jacksonville in Week 3. Luck is an obvious QB1 in a favorable matchup.
Sep 15 - 11:41 PM

Darren Sproles rushed for 26 yards and one touchdown on four carries in the Eagles' 30-27, Week 2 win over the Colts on Monday night, adding seven catches for an additional 152 yards.

Sproles was simply unstoppable. He had Eagles beat writers calling it one of the best running back performances they'd seen in team history. Sproles reeled in all seven of his targets, and shook a Colts defender in the open field before pinballing off three others on his way to the end zone on his 19-yard touchdown run. We didn't see this Sproles in New Orleans last season, and Philadelphia snagged him for a fifth-round pick in the offseason. Coach Chip Kelly is an offensive mastermind, but not many saw this type of usage for Sproles. He's a legitimate RB2/FLEX option every week in all formats. Sproles has 263 yards and two touchdowns through his first two games as LeSean McCoy's No. 2.

Eagles ILB Mychal Kendricks exited Monday night's Week 2 game against the Colts with a calf injury and will not return.

Kendricks was hurt late in the third quarter and limped to the locker room. Casey Matthews is filling in next to DeMeco Ryans. It's a significant downgrade. Kendricks is an every-down player and one of the stars of the defense.
Sep 15 - 11:00 PM

Colts DL Arthur Jones was carted off the field with a high-ankle sprain against the Eagles and will not return.

Jones got tangled up while mixing it up with Eagles LT Jason Peters. One of his Colts teammates landed awkwardly on Jones' ankle, and the team had to cart him off the field after Jones couldn't put any pressure on the foot to walk off the field. Ricky Jean-Francois is now in the game. Jones is week-to-week.
