Tyler O'Neill went 3-for-4 with a home run and two runs scored in Sunday's win over the Phillies.

A day after hitting his first major league homer, O'Neill decided to make it two in a row with a solo shot off Phillies ace Aaron Nola in the sixth inning. He started in right field Saturday and left field Sunday, and although the Cards outfield seems set with Marcell Ozuna, Tommy Pham and Dexter Fowler in tow, O'Neill will find his way into the lineup if he continues to mash. He's worth a speculative add in deeper leagues for his prodigious power.

According to Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe, "there’s a growing feeling among talent evaluators" that the Braves will attempt to acquire Mike Moustakas from the Royals before the trade deadline.

That appears to be even more likely after the Braves ended the Jose Bautista experiment at third base on Sunday. Moustakas is on a very reasonable one-year deal and will be a very attractive trade chip for the Royals in July.

Logan Morrison hit a bases-loaded, go-ahead two-run single in the eighth inning of Sunday's 3-1 win over the Brewers.

With two on and one out, the Brewers opted to intentionally walk Eduardo Escobar to bring up Morrison to face lefty reliever Boone Logan with the bases loaded. LoMo won the battle, lining a single off the right field wall to plate two. Morrison now has 17 RBI to go with a disappointing .211/.318/.376 line in 39 games this year.

Nick Cafardo of the Boston Globe reports that Jake Peavy is still hopeful of returning to the big leagues this season.

The 36-year-old hurler said that he'll make a decision within the next three weeks, but wanted to consult with his children first. Peavy elaborated, "I feel that I can help a team in the second half. My arm feels great. I’ve had a chance to rest it so I feel as strong as I’ve felt in a long time. I’ve kept in shape. I throw bullpens. So I’m hoping that once I make the decision to do it, that the interest will be there." Even if he is able to succeed in his comeback attempt, it's unlikey that he'll be relevvant from a fantasy perspective.

Jesus Aguilar homered for the third consecutive game Sunday, but couldn't help the Brewers overcome the Twins.

Aguilar took Twins starter Jake Odorizzi deep in the sixth inning to tie the game at 1-1 -- one of the only hits the Brewers could muster against Odorizzi on the afternoon -- and finished 2-for-4 in the game. The homer was his fourth in his last three games, giving him seven on the year. Few are hotter than the 27-year-old, who's hitting a robust .333/.395/.608 through Sunday's contest.

Max Kepler had an RBI single and a run scored in Sunday's win over the Brewers.

Kepler plated the first run of the game with an RBI single in the fifth inning. He also walked twice in the contest, and one of those walks turned into a run in the decisive eighth inning. Kepler is having another productive year in the Twins lineup, batting .250/.337/.466 with six homers, 19 RBI and 19 runs scored in 42 games.

Yankees optioned OF Clint Frazier to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

This move was expected, as Frazier was only supposed to be with the club for a couple of games. He'll continue to play everyday at Triple-A until the Yankees have a need for an outfielder.
May 20 - 7:00 PM

Adam Plutko will be recalled from Triple-A Columbus to start for the Indians on Wednesday against the Cubs in Chicago.

He'll get the first crack at filling the open rotation spot that was vacated by Josh Tomlin's demotion to the bullpen. Plutko, 26, allowed three runs over 7 1/3 innings in his lone spot start with the Indians this season.
