Titans WR Tajae Sharpe (knee) is active for Week 8 against the Jaguars.
It doesn't move the needle. We don't have Sharpe rated as a playable asset this week. Inactive for the Titans are WR Harry Douglas, CB Perrish Cox, S Rashad Johnson, LG Quinton Spain, TE Jace Amaro, LB Kevin Dodd and DL Austin Johnson. Brian Schwenke is filling in for Spain.
DeSean Jackson (hamstring, shoulder) remained "limited" on Thursday.
The Redskins have been limiting Jackson's practice reps pretty much all season. D-Jax is a boom/bust WR3 who hasn't boomed much this season.
Jamison Crowder (groin) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
Crowder's status doesn't appear to be in doubt, but Jordan Reed's return has him off the WR4 radar.
Demaryius Thomas (hip) was limited in Wednesday and Thursday's practices.
Thomas has tweaked his hip a few times this season, but will be good to go against the Chargers. He's a mid-range WR2.
Hunter Henry (concussion) was upgraded to "full" in Thursday's practice.
It means that, barring an unforeseen setback, Henry will be good to go against the Broncos. With Antonio Gates remaining one of Philip Rivers' favorite targets, Henry has downside to match his considerable upside. He's best utilized as a risk/reward TE2.
ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Julius Thomas (ankle) will be active for Thursday Night Football against the Titans.
Thomas evidently showed the Jaguars what they needed to see in pre-game workouts. At less than 100 percent for an out-of-sync offense, Thomas is just a TE2 on the short week for Jacksonville.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports Dak Prescott will remain the Cowboys' starter for at least the next two games.
Tony Romo (back) has resumed practicing on a limited basis, but the Cowboys will continue to slow play his return and buy time on their quarterback decision. Prescott has looked like the future of the position in Big D, but Romo probably still offers higher upside for 2016. It's a complicated decision. Now 36, Romo has been limited to four games by injury since the start of last season.
Mike Gillislee (foot) remained limited in Thursday's practice.
Gillislee's Week 8 status isn't in doubt. With LeSean McCoy (hamstring) appearing likely to sit, Gillislee will be a plug-and-play RB2 against the Patriots.
