Robbie Grossman went 2-for-3 with a double while scoring and driving in a run in a win over the Rangers on Sunday.

Grossman's double gives him 10 on the season, and the RBI was number 20 on the year. It's been a disappointing season for the outfielder, who is still just hitting .232/.313/.346 on the season. His fantasy appeal is limited to a cheap stream against left-handed pitchers.
Jun 24 - 5:01 PM

Eddie Rosario went 2-for-4 with a run scored in a victory over the Rangers on Sunday.

Rosario came across to score a run on an RBI single from Robbie Grossman to give the outfielder 54 on the season. He also has his average up to .320 to go along with those runs, and the 26-year-old burgeoning star has an OPS on the year of .938 along with 17 homers over 73 games.
Jun 24 - 4:58 PM

Fernando Rodney struck out the side without allowing a hit against the Rangers on Sunday while picking up his 17th save.

Shoot them arrows, Fernando. Rodney has pitched exceptionally well as of late, and he's now 17-for-20 in save opportunities with the Twins. The scoreless effort lowers the veteran stopper's ERA to 2.73, and the three strikeouts give him 29 in 26 1/3 innings. He's not giving up the closing job anytime soon.
Jun 24 - 4:54 PM

Bartolo Colon pitched well on Sunday while allowing two runs over seven innings, but took the loss against the Twins.

Colon was good on a night where his opponent Jose Berrios was great, so the former takes a hard-luck loss. He allowed seven hits and a walk, and he struck out five. Even with the strong seven innings Colon still owns an unhealthy 4.72 ERA, and he doesn't miss enough bats (54 strikeouts in 87 1/3 innings) to have any fantasy value. It's still fun to see the 45-year-old pitch well, though. He's back on the mound on Saturday to face the White Sox.
Jun 24 - 4:52 PM

Jose Berrios struck out 12 hitters in seven shutout innings in a 2-0 victory over the Rangers on Sunday.

It was a dominant effort from Berrios against the Texas lineup, as he scattered three hits and walked two hitters to go with the aforementioned 12 punchouts. The right-hander has now allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his past eight starts, and his ERA has lowered to 3.15 in the process. Simply put, there aren’t many who have more talent than Berrios, and he’s shown as much for most of the 2018 season. He’ll look to continue his strong run on Saturday when he squares off against the Cubs.
Jun 24 - 4:48 PM

Mark Trumbo hit a pinch-hit, two-run homer in a loss to the Braves on Sunday.

The homer is the eighth of the season, and it came off of Brandon McCarthy with two outs in the fifth inning. Trumbo was forced to sit because of soreness in his knee, but he was still able to make an impact with his power. He's now hitting .268/.324/.484 on the season to go along with the eight homers and 22 RBI over 40 appearances for the Orioles in 2018.
Jun 24 - 4:47 PM

Nick Markakis doubled twice and drove in a run in a victory over the Orioles on Sunday.

Markakis also scored a run. The RBI came on a double that scored Ozzie Albies to give the Braves a 3-1 lead in the third. He now has 25 doubles on the season, which puts him on pace to have over 50 on the 2018 campaign. The veteran outfielder continues to impress, and has his line up to .328/.392/.490 over 76 games.
Jun 24 - 4:44 PM

David Hess allowed five runs over four innings in a loss to the Braves on Sunday.

Hess walked two and struck out four, and he allowed seven hits while throwing 63-of-93 pitches for strikes. It's three-straight starts that the left-hander has allowed five runs, and his ERA of 5.44 is an accurate description of his talent as a starter. It would be a mistake to stream him on Friday when Hess and the Orioles face off against the Angels.
