Brandon Marshall (knee, foot) is officially active for Week 3 against the Chiefs.
Marshall is expected to be on a snap count, but he should see plenty of work on third downs and especially in the red zone. Those high-value snaps keep him in the WR2 conversation despite the limited work. New York declared ILB Erin Henderson, QB Bryce Petty, QB Christian Hackenberg, RB Troymaine Pope, CB Darryl Roberts, LB Mike Catapano, and OT Brandon Shell inactive for Week 3.
Chiefs declared RB Jamaal Charles, OL Parker Ehinger, OL Jah Reid, QB Tyler Bray, LB Sam Barrington, WR De'Anthony Thomas, and CB Kenneth Acker inactive for Week 3 against the Jets.
The Chiefs will get RG Laurent Duvernay-Tardif back after he sat out last week with an ankle injury, but he will not start. Charles saw some practice reps with the first-team and coach Andy Reid suggested he could be back next week, but his return date is still up in the air. Spencer Ware will continue to start as long as Charles is out.
Raiders RT Menelik Watson was forced from Week 3 against the Titans with a leg injury.
He went down right before half. Watson was questionable coming in with a groin injury, but made the start and this doesn't seem to be an aggravation. Watson has long been injury-prone. Rookie Vadal Alexander is in at right tackle.
Vikings LG Alex Boone was forced from Sunday's game against the Panthers with a hip injury.
Boone was listed as "questionable" in the first half, but remained absent after the break. Jeremiah Sirles will finish the game at left guard. It's a huge concern for an already gutted line.
Rams QB Jared Goff is active for Week 3 against the Bucs.
The No. 1 overall pick of the draft at least gets to wear a helmet this week. Case Keenum is still starting. Inactive for the Rams are QB Sean Mannion, WR Pharoh Cooper, CB E.J. Gaines, OT Pace Murphy, TE Temarrick Hemingway, WR Nelson Spruce and DE Matt Longacre.
Bucs declared RB Doug Martin, WR Cecil Shorts, DE Robert Ayers, OG Caleb Benenoch, QB Ryan Griffin, TE Luke Stocker and OT Leonard Wester inactive for Week 3 vs. the Rams.
Martin is week to week. Charles Sims is getting the start and will be a bell-cow in a game where the flow should favor the Bucs. 20 touches is possible, putting Sims on the RB1 borderline.
Thomas Rawls and C.J. Prosise are both inactive for Week 3 against the 49ers.
As was reported would be the case this morning. The Seahawks will have Alex Collins up behind Christine Michael, who should operate as Seattle's every-down back. The rest of the Seahawks' Week 3 inactives are OG Rees Odhiambo, SS Tyvis Powell, DT Quinton Jefferson, TE Nick Vannett, and OG Germain Ifedi.
49ers declared QB Christian Ponder, T Anthony Davis, T John Theus, DL Taylor Hart, RB DuJuan Harris, S Marcus Cromartie, and DE Tony Jerod-Eddie inactive for Week 3 against the Seahawks.
There are no surprises on the 49ers' Week 3 inactives list.
