Shane Vereen (ankle) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Vereen has played the last two weeks despite being listed as questionable. He projects for 6-8 touches against the Jets. Vereen won't be more than a low-end RB3 option for the fantasy finals.
LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) remained limited in Friday's practice and is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Blount played only 16 snaps last week due to his shoulder injury. His Week 16 status isn't in doubt, but he faces an uncertain workload at less than 100 percent. Blount is an RB3 with touchdown upside against the Jets.
Frank Gore (concussion) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
He was limited in Friday's practice. The 49ers host the Chargers on Saturday Night Football. Beat writers are guessing Gore will play, but it's not a guarantee. Carlos Hyde has already been ruled out. If Gore does receive clearance by Saturday, he will be a high-end flex option against San Diego.
Philip Rivers (chest, back) is listed as probable for Week 16.
Rivers will start Saturday night's game at San Francisco.
Stevie Johnson (knee) has been ruled out for Week 16.
The Niners' ballyhooed offseason trade for Johnson never did help much.
Carlos Hyde (ankle/back) has been ruled out for Week 16.
Hyde's status for the 49ers' season finale is unknown at this time.
Ladarius Green (ankle, concussion) is listed as questionable for Week 16.
Green is tentatively expected to be active on Saturday night after practicing all week. He missed Week 15. Green could experience a bump in usage after the Chargers lost Keenan Allen to a fractured collarbone.
Ryan Mathews (ankle) is listed as out for Week 16 against the 49ers.
Branden Oliver and Donald Brown will share the backfield on Saturday against San Francisco. It's a fantasy situation to avoid wherever possible. Oliver got more Week 15 touches than Brown and would be the superior flex gamble.
