Larry Fitzgerald's knee sprain is not responding as the Cardinals had hoped.
Ryan Mathews rushed for 105 yards and one touchdown on 12 carries in the Chargers' Week 12 win over the Rams.
Mathews ran all over the Rams in the first half and ended an early third-quarter possession with a 32-yard touchdown scamper. But two Rams landed on top of him at the end of the run, and Mathews ended up missing about 20 minutes of game time with a shoulder injury before returning late in the fourth. He appears to be fine for Week 13 against the Ravens, where he'll be an RB2.
Tavon Austin rushed for 27 yards and one touchdown on three carries in the Rams' Week 12 loss to the Chargers.
Austin caught three passes for 11 yards. His two biggest plays were a 15-yard run to set up his own six-yard touchdown run two plays later. Austin was also dynamic on punt returns, bring two back for 44 yards, though a 77-yard one late in the fourth quarter was called back due to a questionable holding penalty. Austin remains a non-factor fantasy-wise, but he's shown some signs of life lately.
Michael Floyd did not catch a pass in Sunday's Week 12 loss at Seattle.
Floyd was officially targeted two times and had one 10-yard catch called back by penalty. It's a predictable result as the Seattle secondary eats up bigger wideouts and Drew Stanton had no shot going on the road to the league's most hostile environment. Floyd will be a WR3 stab in Week 13 -- only because the Cardinals face the Falcons and Larry Fitzgerald (knee) may not play again. But right now, John Brown looks like the more effective player and the one we'd want to start in that spot.
Jaron Brown caught three passes for 24 yards in Sunday's Week 12 loss at Seattle.
Brown won't remember anything from this game other than one play. Late in the first half, Drew Stanton hit him between the numbers in the end zone with a third-down pass. Brown somehow dropped it and hung his head in disbelief. Even with Larry Fitzgerald (knee) looking unlikely to play at Atlanta next week, Jaron Brown is not a viable option. Teammate John Brown is.
Stevie Johnson was held without a catch in Week 12.
Sub-package receivers Brandon Lloyd and Johnson both were targeted once against the Redskins, and came away catch-less. Although Johnson has been a useful on-field player for the 49ers at times this year, he has no fantasy value.
C.J. Anderson rushed 27 times for 167 yards and a touchdown in the Broncos' Week 12 win over the Dolphins, adding four catches for an additional 28 yards.
John Carlson caught three passes for 25 yards in Sunday's Week 12 loss at Seattle.
Carlson now has three catches in back-to-back games, which is roughly his ceiling. Bruce Arians' offense does not feature the tight end and Drew Stanton is limiting the entire scheme.
