Frank Gore rushed 25 times for 144 yards and caught two passes for five yards in the 49ers' Week 17 win over the Cardinals.

Gore lacks his old burst, but he still runs with amazing vision and toughness and regularly gets more than what's blocked. Entering free agency, this was likely Gore's last game as a 49er. He will turn 32 this offseason and remains one of the game's most reliable all-purpose backs. Gore finished the 2014 season with 1,106 yards and four touchdowns on 255 carries (4.34 YPC), adding 11 receptions. We suspect he'll find playing time in 2015, albeit probably not as a true workhorse.

Randall Cobb caught 4-of-5 targets for 80 yards and two touchdowns in the Packers' Week 17 win over the Lions.

It was a fitting end to what was easily the best regular season of Cobb's four-year career. He heads into the playoffs the owner of a 91/1,287/12 line. All three totals blow by his previous personal bests.

Jared Cook caught 3-of-7 targets for 37 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

Dec 28 - 8:11 PM

Chris Givens caught 2-of-2 targets for 18 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks.

He hauled in just 11 passes for 159 yards and one touchdown on the season. Givens has fallen a long way since his strong rookie season in 2012. He was merely the No. 4/5 receiver on a Rams team starving for offense. Givens’ Dynasty stock is in the toilet. He’ll have to compete for a roster spot next summer.

49ers WR Quinton Patton's lone Week 17 target went for a 35-yard catch.

Patton ends his sophomore NFL season with just three catches. He played behind Anquan Boldin, Michael Crabtree, Stevie Johnson, and Brandon Lloyd. Patton was a fairly intriguing prospect coming out of Louisiana Tech for his route-running chops, but he will likely enter 2015 training camp on the roster bubble.

Jordy Nelson caught 6-of-8 targets for 86 yards in the Packers' Week 17 win over the Lions.

Nelson closes the book on the regular season with 98 catches for 1,519 yards and 13 touchdowns. Both the catches and yards are new career bests by comfortable margins. Nelson now has two weeks to rest up for a home playoff game in the Divisional Round.

Tavon Austin caught two passes for 13 yards in the Rams' Week 17 loss to the Seahawks, rushing one time for one yard.

As a sophomore, Austin caught 31 passes for 242 scoreless yards and rushed 35 times for 224 yards and two touchdowns. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2013 draft, Austin made some strides after a slow start to the season, but he’s shown nothing that gives us any hope that he’ll be more than a gadget player. Austin is well off the fantasy radar in the Rams’ spread-the-wealth offense that lacks a true weapon at receiver. Austin holds no redraft value and his Dynasty stock is very low.
Dec 28 - 8:08 PM

Latavius Murray rushed 10 times for 37 yards and caught four passes for 60 yards in Sunday's Week 17 loss at Denver.

The inept Raiders declined to give Murray a chance for the first three months of the season even though it was painfully obvious Maurice Jones-Drew and Darren McFadden were done. Once they finally gave the keys to the physical specimen, Murray shined. Over the final six weeks, Latavius rushed 56 times for 413 yards (7.37 YPC) with two touchdowns and caught 14 passes for 124 more yards. He's more than earned favorite status for the Week 1 starting job no matter who is coaching the team.
